This NEEWER Magnetic Filter set comes with 6 optical glass filter that are advertised as having “30 layers of multi functional coatings on both sides of the HD optical glass”. Coatings are important because plain uncoated glass actually reduces your image quality with flares, UV contamination, and unwanted reflections. I have found the coatings that Neewer is using in their latest filters to be of exceptionally good quality. They have the added benefit of repelling water and fingerprints as well as protecting your lens.

I like that this kit includes a UV filter. This is a clear filter that protects your lens from dirt and scratches, as well as cutting out UV light to make your images better in sunlight. I always keep a good quality UV filter on my lenses because it is much better to replace a scratched filter than a lens! I recommend leaving it on all the time - you will thank me when you drop your camera!

Coming from the film production world, names like ND256 have no meaning to me. Here is a handy list of exactly how many stops of light each of the NDs in this set will block:

ND16 = 4 stops of light reduction
ND32 = 5 stops of light reduction
ND64 = 6 stops of light reduction
ND256 = 8 stops of light reduction

In summary, this is a very good set of optically precise filters and I recommend them.

This kit elevated my OSMO Pocket 3 videography with some well built magnetic ND CPL UV Filters.

Pros:
- Compact and Lightweight: The filters come neatly packed in a small case, ensuring portability without compromising on protection for each filter.

- Premium Build Quality: Crafted with precision, the metal housing of these Neewer filters mirrors the OEM accessories, providing a premium feel and robust durability.

- Strong Magnetic Attachment: The magnetic connection is secure, preventing accidental detachment during use. The strong magnets ensure a firm grip without compromising ease of removal.

- Excellent Coating and Performance: The filters boast a high-quality coating that delivers outstanding optical performance. The CPL filter, in particular, met my expectations, reducing reflections effectively.

- Gradual Exploration: With the CPL filter meeting my current needs, I look forward to gradually exploring the full potential of the other filters based on my evolving requirements.

Con:
- Case Size: While the carrying case is practical, I wish it's even more compact for enhanced portability.

Pros:
-Small packaging and lightweight. All the filters are securely stored inside a small carrying case.
-The built quality of these Neewer filters is pretty much the closest thing to the OEM accessories. The metal housing adds a premium feeling and the overall craftsmanship exceeds my expectations.
-The magnets are adequately strong and I don't find them easy to remove naturally.
-The filter's coating and overall performance were great. The most I've used so far is the CPL which fits my use case perfectly. I will explore the rest of them gradually once I get more familiar with Pocket 3 later on.

Cons/Nitpicks:
-I wish the carrying case could be smaller.

I received those before my Pocket 3 ... used them this week end on a sunny day ,complete with a fresh 8 inches of snow , a very bright day . Well i was able to get great footage ,well exposed and with great details,no perceptible color shift . They do the job and fit well ,magnetic force seem on par with the wide angle in the Creator kit . They are a great tool to add to a videographer kit .
