It works but....
(Updated Review) Paired a Canon R50 with Sigma 150-600mm using this. It works however after a week of use I noticed the mount developes some play/wiggle. The mount gets slightly loose causing lens to stop auto focusing. I am assuming the pins lose contact with lens or camera due to the 1-2mm of play between both lens and camera sides of adapter. So I was finding myself constantly twisting the camera counterclockwise to keep everything snug in order to use. If it gets bumped clockwise then it loses function again. I ordered the Canon adapter and do not have this issue. I will keep the Neewer as backup or for other cameras. It works, its just the play is bit annoying.

This EF-RF adapter fits perfectly
with no light leaks, snug and well made.
It has a detachable foot for mounting heavier lenses to a tripod,
balancing the camera/lens better.
Focus and information fast, no problems.
And no problems with non Canon lenses.

I rarely give 5 star reviews all the way around for a product, however this is one of those rare exceptions.
This EOS-R mount adapter for EF-S lenses by Neewer is a great non-oem option at a fraction of the price of OEM pieces. Camera gear is a very personal thing, and when you get to an intermediate level you want good quality without the exorbitant price of professional while maintaining good results. This adapter hits those marks and more.
I was very impressed with the build quality:
- Heavy and clicks into place without wobble
- Ability to connect to a tripod on the ring itself
- Auto focus while not built into this ring, it works flawlessly between camera and lens settings
The adapter has all markings, connectors, and supporting features you would expect from the OEM.
I have had Neewer items in the past and always found them to be of good quality and produce good results, so when I had the opportunity to test this out, I didn't hesitate and neither should you. This should give you what you want to achieve as a intermediate photographer at a reasonable price!
For reference, I am using this on a EOS-R10 with a Sigma EF-S 100-400MM lens and Canon EF-S 10-18MM lens.
