I use these as close up lights for both sides of my head while cutting my hair. I went through a TON of listings and ideas trying to find a simple, cheap lighting system. I settled on this one because:
-the lights are rechargeable, meaning no wires in the way while I cut
-they're light and clippable, meaning they can attach to my 3 way mirror and move with it when I change my mirror angles
-they're bright AF unlike some booklights I tried previously
-they do combo blue/orange lights which appears pretty natural and easy on the eyes
-they're a ton cheaper than the giant ring lights usually recommended for selfcuts
-the batteries last plenty long for my purposes, even longer than the batteries for the LED strips in the 3 way mirror pictured
All in all, I highly recommend getting 2 of these (yes these DON'T come as a pair, I bought 2) for self haircuts.
