Who knew you could oil your fretboard? Clearly I've been living under a rock. A friend suggested getting a cleaner and oil for my acoustic guitar's fretboard next time I change the strings. I came across this product because of the advertised cleaning and conditioner and opted to give it a try.
You put a couple drops on each fret sparingly and then rub it with a microfiber cloth which helped to strip away years of dirt and grime from my fretboard. I was very impressed. I went back over it again with a little more to condition it and let it soak in for about 10 minutes and wiped away any additional residue. I also did the same to the bridge and this brought out the grain colours beautifully.
With new strings on, I started playing and immediately noticed how smoothly my fingers moved around the fretboard. I will definitely be doing this every time I change my strings. Definitely recommended!
