a fairly inexpensive LG Blu Ray that has been modified. Works well but a very expensive fix. Probably better to just buy a region specific player and use it when needed. Still, packed well... quick delivery.... if this is what you're looking for, this item and seller check all the boxes.

I received this player less than a week ago. So far it has shown below average performance. For example when I turn on the TV, the player wouldn't turn on automatically, it's the same when I turn off the TV, I have to manually turn off the player. Today I tried to play several DVDs, it refused to play any DVD, showing a disc error message instead.

Update on June 27th: thanks to Amazon Prime! I had no problem returning the unit and get reimbursed. Even the cost of returning the unit was pre-paid by Amazon. I couldn't be more happy of being a member of Amazon Prime. I bought the SONY S6200 instead and I'm very happy with this unit.
