Snap the lock into the disc brake, press the button to sound the disk lock alarm, you will hear a loud "beep" to let you know the disk lock alarm is activated. It is very convenient when locked, no key is required.

When vibration is detected, it emits three beeps to warn potential burglars. If the alarm lock detects vibration again, it will emit a continuous high-pitched alarm sound at 110dB to attract everyone's attention and repel thieves.

Each alarm will last 10 seconds and must be disabled by inserting the key to unlock or waiting 10 seconds. Each lock is equipped with 2 keys, please take care of the keys. Because they are the only two keys in the world that can open this disc brake lock.

Use the included screw key to remove four screws on bottom of unit. Inside are two white, plastic boxes. The larger box has one panel which is removable by pulling with fingernail or tiny screwdriver. Inside is a battery stack inside a small plastic cradle which comes out. My disc brake lock had one screw which was inserted incorrectly (skewed). I had to drill through the screw to get it out ! Extremely cheap, soft material used for screws. Pretty typical nasty, mass produced Chinese junk with no quality control. The lock may be effective, but if you aren't going to be in the vicinity and your alarm goes off, it will continue to sound every 10 seconds until the key is used to reset it. I removed the batteries for this reason. I don't want to worry about the thing going off due to a strong gust of wind....it is sensitive.
