I really like Moroccan Oil products because they’re usually very well made and thought out. This was my first time trying this set, and I was quite pleased with it. Considering the price, you get a good amount of product, which I appreciate. However, I have a couple of things to note.

These products have a strong scent which personally, I love it, but for those sensitive to smells, it might be overwhelming. Even though I have sensitive skin, these shampoos, conditioners, and serums worked great for my scalp and didn’t cause any irritation.

The shampoo and conditioner are very pigmented, so don’t leave them on too long, or your hair might get a lavender tint. I do wish the shampoo lathered a bit more, but overall, for the price, it’s a great value.

À la maison, nous sommes déjà adeptes de Moroccanoil, dont mes filles et moi utilisons plusieurs produits au quotidien, notamment le traitement à l'huile et la crème coiffante. J'ai commandé ceci par curiosité et j'ai refilé le tout à une amie blonde. Celle-ci, qui n'était pas familière avec la marque, a adoré la fragrance Moroccanoil. Elle a particulièrement aimé le traitement à l'huile, qui ajoute de l'éclat aux cheveux et les rend faciles à coiffer.

Avec d'aussi petits formats, il est toutefois difficile d'évaluer l'impact réel des produits sur le maintient de sa belle couleur blonde, qui sera visible à plus long terme, mais elle avait quand même l'impression d'une amélioration.

En ce qui me concerne, je serai curieuse de voir l'évolution des produits ciblés par couleurs, s'il y en a éventuellement d'autres: j'aimerais beaucoup avoir un tout-en-un qui ait à la fois les bénéfices du traitement, tout en rehaussant ma couleur rousse naturelle!

As a longtime Moroccanoil fan, I was excited to try the Brilliant Blonde for my dark ash blonde colour-treated hair with highlights. To my surprise, it actually revived the colour beautifully right from the first use!

The system includes a purple shampoo, conditioner, and even their signature argan oil treatment. The fragrance is pleasant, but not overpowering, and fades away after styling.

I plan to continue using the products as I can really tell the anti-brass effect. Considering the three high-quality Moroccanoil products, I think the Discovery Set is a fantastic value to try these products out.

This is a great shampoo and hair oil set for counterbalancing brassy tones that tend to show up when coloured hair starts to fade. Sometimes as the colour fades, it looks worse than the original hair colour, especially on white/grey hair that has undergone colour treatment. The hair oil smells like the original but the colour is purple. When applied to coloured hair, it didn't darken or lighten the colour of the hair, but rather made the hair look less golden. It also did a good job of conditioning my hair. The shampoo and conditioner smell great. The trio is fantastic when used together, shampoo, then conditioner and when my hair is dry, I add a few drops of the hair oil to make my hair healthy and glossy. These are great deluxe sample-sized products to try out first without a hefty investment into one product.

This set is definitely a great introduction into what Moroccanoil has for blondes. The products are not the largest however for the occasional treatment this is good value. The products smell great, but I wouldn't say it is overpowering or overly fragranced. I did have some concern that this would stain my hair purple however I had no change in colour and my hair looked hydrated and healthy.

I have used several brands of purple hair products and this shampoo and conditioner are a nice new addition to that line up. (If you aren't familiar with purple hair products they are indeed purple and will stain your shower if you don't rinse them off immediately so be aware of your shower material when using the products.) I have used the Moroccanoil hair treatment oil for years and am never without a large bottle of their richest formula. I was initially intrigued with the idea of an entire purple line including the oil, but once I received it I realized it might not be ideal to have the oil be purple as well. I mainly use the oil at the ends of my hair so it would be getting a disproportionate amount of purple coloring deposited on the ends as compared to my root/crown. Since the oil is meant to be leave in I honestly wasn't even willing to give it a try because once you open it you find that it is BRIGHT purple. Which is fine for the shampoo and conditioner which gets distributed everywhere and then washed out. But I am not going to distribute the oil over my whole head. I have pretty thick hair and use their oil almost nightly on my ends brushing through before I go to bed. If I continued this practice with their purple oil I think it would be a nightmare. I love, love, love their regular hair treatment oil and I liked the purple shampoo and conditioner but I am going to skip the new purple oil personally as I don't think it fits into my routine of how I personally use their products.

The combination of the shampoo and conditioner worked perfectly for taking the brassiness out of blonde unit. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a medium viscosity. The shampoo lathered and rinsed well. The conditioner left the hair feeling soft and lightweight.

I do like Morrocanoil products already but wanted to try the purple line for blond or highlighted hair.

No disappointment here - works as fabulously as their other products...
It took away all the harsh brassiness that blonde hair can get with crappy water and crappy products.

Very happy.
Just note that the amount you get is definitely sample sized - which is good for seeing if it works for you. Is a bit pricey......
