This set is great to work on fine motor skills.
This wooden toy comes with 25 colour wooden beads in different shapes, wooden storage box, 5 wooden dowels, 2 laces with a wooden end and double sided cards for bead sequencing.The storage box holds all the pieces. It has 5 holes to place the dowels in to place the beads on. I wish the box had a lid for storage, but it does look attractive sitting on a shelf when the beads are placed on the dowels.The beads have large holes drilled in them to place them on the dowels. Little ones can use the pattern cards to pattern match the beads onto the dowels or onto the laces. I do wish that the laces had a stopper/knot on the bottom to prevent the beads from falling off as the beads are laced onto them. I love the wooden sticks on the end of the lace to make it easier for little ones to put the lace through the bead.Take note that the beads are small enough to be a choking hazard for little ones.This set is great to work on fine motor skills. Little ones can work on patterns with the beads, copy a series of colours or bead types to work on visual motor skill.The variety of bead types to encourages fine motor skill work. Overall this is a good addition to a playroom or classroom.

This is a great Montessori toy. As most standard Montessori toys go it is made of wood easy to set up and has a classic look and feel. It comes in a really nice wooden box which stores everything easily. My only complaint is the box doesn’t have a lid however the product itself does use wooden poles as a learning method so having a lid would be obsolete. It comes with different cards that children can use to try And copy which helps them with visual learning. It also has strings to use for the same effect. This is great for any homeschooler or preschooler because it can be seen as a game while also teaching a child how to mimic patterns. It’s an aesthetically pleasing toy for any display in a playroom or childcare centre. It is a good quality wood so you don’t have to worry about getting splinters. The paint itself on the beaded blocks is not scratch resistant however it is quite thick so this toy would last for a really long time. This can be cleaned by just wiping it down and disinfecting it it doesn’t need to be scrubbed as it has smooth surfaces . It comes within a nice box which completely displays the contents of the toy which makes for a great gift and is easy to wrap. Overall a fantastic product.

I highly recommend this set as it has been put through the test of 4 kids and it is holding up really well. The wood base and dowels are sturdy and holding up, the shapes are a nice size I don't have to worry about them being a choking hazard, kids can either arrange on own or there are cards for them to follow. Comes with two pc of string so kids can work on fine motor skills and pull through the hole. I'm pleased with this toy.

I received a wooden shape and pattern toy . This set includes a wooden tray to hold everything, 5 pre cut dowels, 25 beads of different colours and shapes, 8 double sided pattern cards, and 2 lacing strings.
Basic idea is you set the dowels up in the predrilled holes and then pick a pattern card. Children are then asked to re recreate the pattern on the dowels.
The box says 3-5 years old and I feel 4 to 6 is a better age group . Some of the beads are small and could pose chocking hazards. The laces I like the bigger end to help little hands get beads on but I wish there was a large knot at the end so the beads would not just fall off .
Overall a not bad game to help with coordination , colours, shapes and following patterns.
