I received the Cubo AI Plus monitor last week and I've set it up for about a week. In this week I could say it is a pretty good baby monitor.The first thing is the monitoring function is really fantastic. No matter it's in daylight mode or night vision mode, the resolution is very clear. We can see our baby on our phone or tablet through the app.Secondly, the installation is pretty easy. The manual is easy to follow, so you don’t need to find the installation guide video on YouTube. In addition, In the package Cubo AI includes 3 different bases so you can put it on the floor, attach it on your crib, or put it on the desk.The mobile app is also great. Just as same as the installation, the app is also easy to setup and pairs with device with a minute. The app also provides many features. For me, the most important feature is the alert. My daughter loves to sleep on her stomach. Cubo AI will send alert to my phone when it detects the baby rolls and/or something covers the baby's face. Cubo AI even records a short clip when the event happens. When something happens, we just need to check the app and we could know the situation at a glance.Besides the alert, the app also provides several cool features such as composing several pictures of the baby every day, checking the temperature and humidity, and sleep analysis. This thing is amazing! It’s a treat right from the unboxing stage. The package includes everything you need to mount the camera the way that works best for you. There’s a floor stand, a crib attachment, and a table top stand. We’re using the floor stand, and it works great. The height is perfect and the camera picks up the whole crib perfectly.

As for the camera, the quality is incredible. It’s crystal clear on my iPhone, whether the light is on in the room or not - the night vision is super sensitive. The sound quality is great too. It’s nice to be able to play some appeasing lullabies directly from the camera, rather than having another device somewhere. The app has been working great so far. It’s very intuitive and a piece of cake to set up all the features. We use it on Android and iOS.

When it comes to the features, this thing is loaded. We still haven’t played around with all of them, but the photo/video capture capabilities are great since the quality is so good. We’re still in the newborn stage at this point, but I can’t wait to set this thing up in the living room when the time comes and play around with the danger zone detection features, etc. Cubo is like the Apple of baby monitors - it just works and works great. It’s worth every penny.

We bought this monitor in 2021 for our daughter born in mid 2022 as we wanted one that came with all the safety bells and whistles so to speak. This one seemed to have it all. Temp and humidity readings and alerts, two-way audio, night mode, cry detection, rollover alert, boundary alert, music/white noise, photos and rewind video etc. it sounded perfect. And for the $400.00 price tag, it should work.
We have, unfortunately, experienced frequent issues.
The most resent being the camera does not work. We get the humidity and temp reading but no audio video. My daughter rolled out of bed (was a floor bed so no hard fall or anything) and sat up in a complete daze at 3:00am. She was scared and cried out for her mom. The monitor did not alert us to a cry detection or that she was out of her boundary in fact the audio was completely gone. We heard nothing. It wasn’t until 20 minutes later that we heard her hitting her bedroom door crying for mama that we woke up and were able to console her. Absolutely traumatizing. Absolutely unacceptable. I checked my phone which has the video feed on throughout the night and the volume on my device was all the way up. Every other app was able to play sound. And no, the audio was not clicked off on the CuboAi app. It simply did not work as it should. I was able to replay the video to see that she had been at the door crying for us for roughly 20 minutes after rolling out of bed.
This is unfortunately the last straw.
We have the camera disconnect probably once a week. This has required us to have to set it up all over again. Sometimes it shuts off in the middle of the night so when I notice this, I have to tip toe into my daughters room to try and reconnect the camera, which requires a light to read a QR code, while she is trying to sleep. This is externally frustrating and unreliable. And no, our internet does not cut out during these issues. No power outages, it’s simply the cubo.
Also, the two way audio which allows you to talk through the monitor to your child rarely works. Usually you get one of two words to come through and it sounds absolutely terrible. This feature I feel is unusable.
When we bought the camera, a lot, if not all of the features were free. Now you have to get a Cubo subscription. On an already $400 monitor! Come on! No more cute random pictures. No more lullabies (except for 1 or 2).
After using this camera since mid 2022, I would say that no, it is not worth your money. It has caused a lot of stress due to all the issues. Not only that, I simply feel it is unsafe due to its unreliability. We spent a lot of money for something to work this poorly and cause this much stress and worry. I will now have to buy another monitor as I feel the Cubo is too unpredictable, unreliable, and unsafe. Please save your money, heed my warning, and buy a different monitor.

I really love our Cubo baby monitor. We decided to purchase this lesser known on Prime Day after researching other video (phone operated and standalone) monitors without finding one we really liked due to up front cost, glitches, or repeated subscription cost..

My favorite features have been the face/rollover detection and room temperature & humidity monitoring.
When our son started rolling over, he would sometimes go face down. Cubo would send out a chirp so we could ensure his head was turned to the side for air each time. It gave me piece of mind.
The temperature monitoring will let us know when the room gets too cold or hot and (we live in Florida) in our house the room can randomly run hot at odd hours, even at 3am. It is nice knowing the baby won't overheat.

There had been a time or two when we had to close and reopen the app to get the monitor to work but it quickly resumed functionality. The team recently pushed out an update that should help with this.

Recently (March or April 2021), Cubo interacting with Echo was activated so we can now view the baby on Echo like the non-phone baby monitors.

We decided to go with Cubo over other similar brands, in spite of it being from a newer smaller company, because of the value it offers for the price.
- it does NOT have issues shutting of when a phone screen is locked (some other brands have this glitch and I hate the thought if not knowing my baby was in distress due to a software bug)
- you have access to baby's videos for 18 hours without paying a dime
- family members in other states can be given permissions and see baby too (you can also control what access they have like turning off sound)
-it uses face detection and nothing needs to attach to the baby
- you can turn on audio only in the app to hear baby as you browse, just like classic audio only monitors without the secondary unit or batteries
-very responsive support team. Any time I have a question (like how to turn on sound only monitoring or what to do if there is an error connecting to echo) their team responds within hours

The monitor works well, staff is responsive, and my mind is at ease when using this monitor. Our baby is too small to get out of bed but when he does, I look forward to expanding the monitored area to make sure he doesn't get into trouble.

Some mention connectivity issues but this could be their wifi. Our router is located central to the home and that may be why we do not have many issues in this area.

ho preso questa telecamera per controllare la bimba quando dorme e gioca nella sua cameretta, si vede bene, ma purtroppo la telecamera rimane fissa, non ce modo di spostarla se non manualmente, il sensore per non scendere dal letto è abbastanza inutile ti avvisa solo quando non vede più la bimba nel letto e calcolando che è nato per i bimbi nel lettino vuol dire che ti avvisa solo dopo che hanno scavalcato, il sensore umidità e temperatura è comodo per saper i gradi nella stanza.. sicuramente è un buon prodotto ma non era quello che cercavo cosi ho fatto il reso.. ps prezzo decisamente alto

Le produit a une bonne qualité qui se voit du packaging. L'installation et le partage sont très faciles et semble bien sécurisé.

La caméra a une bonne qualité et la vision nocturne marche parfait. Faire attention à connecter à un réseau 5ghz pour éviter la latence.

L'analyse du sommeil marche bien et c'est intéressant par exemple pour voir s'il s'est réveillé quand il a bougé ou avec les visites.

Les alertes sont pratiques mais je pense qu'il pourrait avoir même plus. L'alerte de pleurs est incroyable elle se trompe jamais et on peut la configurer au plus sensible pour détecter le moindre pleure.

Il y a une bonne sélection de berceuses et la qualité du haut parleur et étonnantement bonne.

Pouvoir voir toute la nuit c'est très bien et l'idée d'avoir les souvenirs automatiques aussi.

Managed to connect to wifi quickly and fortunately. Read a lot of negative comment about the connection, and i took a leap of faith due to the array of functions provided.

Compatible with google home hub as well which is good as it acts like a monitor.

So far, all the functions indicated by company are working well. Alert when baby is crying, out/in of crib, face covered, although sometimes it was due to caregiver covering the baby to do some cleaning up, but its fine.

One features i hope the company will incorporate into the app will be to notify when family members who have access, accessing the camera, so that we know it is being accessed.

The app appears very laggy, couldn't get it to even to sync the function with the camera.
Updating the firmware was an issue, but managed to update after awhile.
Subsequently, the app is able to direct my instruction to the camera fairly quickly.
Customer support was also quite prompt and helpful when i was not able to update the firmware etc.

I can only say im satisfied, and glad that i took the leap of faith to get this camera. Hopefully it last.
