Does not work on North American TV

It appears that the unit is not made for the North American market. I connected the unit to my TV picked a UHF frequency and scanned for it, nothing happened picked a different channel, same thing, nothing happened. I checked the North American UHF frequency table against the one supplied with the unit and the channel frequencies do not correlate with the North American channel frequencies. The unit is useless to me. More detail needs to be provided by the seller (all of your sellers!!!) on the seller page
