This is a mixed bag. On the one hand, it is precise, easy to use and works just like the OEM stylus of the laptop. Unfortunately, the one I got had battery issues. It is supposed last 10 hrs of use time and 90 hrs of idle time. My sample had a weird battery drain problem. One day it drained to 0 from 28% overnight. If that was bad, the next time it drained to 0 from 64% overnight.
While I enjoyed using it briefly, I just couldn't keep it. So, it is going back to Amazon. If they fix the battery issue, it is a great stylus.

I’m giving it 1.5 stars because it turns on and is really cheap compared to the original apple pencil. I bought it because I thought that my apple pencil would turn up and I just needed something to use in the meantime; Ive used it daily for a month and half and it’s been inconvenient to say the least. If you’re thinking that you’re going to buy this pencil and save some money that may be true but the functionality is much much lower than a true Apple Pencil. Every single time you want to use it you need to press the button on the top for a few seconds, sometimes multiple times because nothing happens the first and second times and often even after turning it on its red so you need to magnetically connect it to an ipad to charge until it turns green which takes a minute or two (even although it was connected the whole time it wasn’t being used). This doesn’t seem like a long time wasted but think of pressing the button twice and holding it and then having to connect it every single time after turning it on EVERY single time you use it which in my case is like 40 times a day since I used it 5-8 hours a day for work. There have been times it’s taken me a good 3-5 minutes to get it to work and actually write something and this seems to get worse as it ages (its only 1.5 mths old). Its obvious the quality isn’t good. Its really really infuriating; sometimes Ill even be using it and because its connected to the ipad magnetically and not being used to write it turns off so then when I grab it to write, it no longer works and I need to turn it on again after only a few mins of it having been idle. Its time consuming and annoying I really recommend going for the real apple pencil it may be $100 more but its worth it. The Apple Pencil is just there and always ready to work without you holding any button down prior or connecting it to the ipad it just works consistently and frustration free. This pencil also has a bit of a lag sometimes and you also lose the functions that the Apple Pencil has by just touching the side like switching to the eraser for example just by swiping. If you’ve never had an apple pencil you may think it’s a good choice but realistically going from original to this is really tough. I couldn’t take it anymore and just got an original from the Apple Store.
