Installation Worries
Miktver TV Wall Mount is truly a space saver, moving an 8" to 27" TV off the stand for better space management. It's a hefty & strong product allowing the television to be placed at just the right viewing angles. The Vesa pattern fits my television perfectly. Installation hardware came with the package, minus the cable cover track which I purchased separately to neatly tuck away all wires. I was committed when I first acquired the TV Wall mount but have had second thoughts due to the building being 40+ years old. I'm unsure if my inner walls are steel or wood studs. Plus I'd hate for my smaller television which I'd like to position overtop a larger one fall breaking both units. The other problem I'm having is if I go ahead with the installation, will a 3 inch distance from the wall be enough clearance for my particular setup, which is quite complex. I'd hate to drill holes only to end up filling & painting because of being disappointed with the final outcome or worse, both televisions get destroyed. For now, this installation is on hold. Should I go forward I'll gladly post my results.

This is a small TV/monitor wall mount. It has VESA mounts for 50x50, 75x75 and 100x100. It includes some hardware such as wall anchors. It can rotate and tilt fully, so it is quite versatile. The listing states that the maximum screen size of the TV/monitor is 27” diagonal and the maximum weight is 22 lbs. It is quite important to follow the weight rating, as something too heavy may tilt downwards, as the tilt position is only held by a screw. However, many monitors are very light, so as long as they are less than 22 lbs, I wouldn’t worry about the size limitation.
The biggest issue is that the screw holes for the wall plate are two inches apart (see photo). Because typical 2x4 studs are actually 1-1/2” wide, that means only two vertical holes will hit a stud and the other two will hit only drywall with nothing behind it. Two thick screws into a stud with only 22 lbs of weight should be enough, but for maximum safety, you should use proper drywall/hollow wall anchors for the two holes that don’t hit a stud.
