I am a retired medical Microbiology technologist who worked with microscopes for over 45 yrs.I did a lot of microscopic photography in the lab. I bought this mike when I saw the attachment for the phone (camera) and was missing the work I did for years. I just thought it would be fun to do microscopic shots of nature like flowers, leaves, bugs, etc. I have a Samsung phone and in these 2 photos you can see how the whole field is not captured due to the size of the camera aperture on my Samsung. These were taken from the prepared slides which came with the mike. I am considering getting an iPhone13 which seems to have just the right size aperture. (It was time for an upgrade anyway) So hopefully, the shots will improve.The third shot I had taken in the lab with a much better mike (it's a pubic louse (crab).Although this little mike has up to 2000X it seems the light isn't bright enough at higher powers.These above shots were taken at 100X which is what I would mostly use.I am still fascinated with the microscopic world and just wanted to have some fun again!All in all, this is a fine little mike for the young student or the young at heart!

The media could not be loaded.
 Despite the cheap price, this microscope is very capable (check pictures and the video) and felt solid in hand. This is a great product if you want to discover the hobby of microscopy for minimal investment.

The package includes prepared sample slides of insect parts, plants, and even blood which is nice. They also provide you with 5 blank slides and coverslips so you can do your own slides (that's a great addition). You also get some tools for sample preparation but you will have to do some research on the web to learn how to use them. A plastic cover is included and prevents the accumulation of dust on the microscope.

Observing samples was straight forward and simple. I like that they include a cell phone adapter and a wire shutter to take pictures.

Since I brew beer and that I am actively trying to isolate wild yeast I wanted to find a cheap microscope to observe my samples. I was easily able to observe yeast cells with it, which pleased me (see video).

Other than that, I can easily imagine kids having a great experience with this product. It has everything to start a microscopy hobby.

The device is very sturdy with loads of great features and includes all the accessories you need to get started. The images are clear when looking through the eyepiece. Included slides are fun to get started with until you discover your own. Unfortunately the manual is very basic with only a small write up to label the various parts and a suggestion to start with the lowest magnification and work up from there. No instructions for what or how to use all the other included parts. The iPhone attachment is not as good as shown. The image is viewable but the area shown is reduced and not as focused at the edges.

This microscope is ready to go right out of the box with no set-up required. It's main structure is metal, not heavy gauge but of adequate quality. It comes with both top and/or bottom lighting that is dimmable and a built in filter wheel under the table. The included cell camera attachment is decent quality and the remote wired shutter worked with no set-up. It's lenses are clear and as described and its focusing wheels work very well. The included accessories such as tweezers are cheap quality but heck, great for a novice. And it comes with a few prepared slides and blanks. All in all, I suggest this is a great little microscope for the price. Buy some extra blank slides.

J'ai acheté ce microscope en décembre et le soir de Noël la petite lampe du haut ne fonctionnait pas. Les images étaient très difficiles à obtenir avec l'objectif 40. J'ai donc fini par demander un remboursement. Mais j'étais déçue de devoir le renvoyer.
