This one was well within a reasonable price range and seemed simple enough and so far has worked very well. The plate is big enough to fit some small PCB and lcd screens under for showing circuits and pixels. It has some onboard memory to store photos but also saves to micro sd which is great. The plate can be adjusted a good amount to fit things under and the focus is intuitive. There are a few settings like digital zoom and surprising ones that are useful like the hz selection to take video without getting light flicker. There is also a physical brightness dial and it is rechargable by usb-c making the whole package ideal for a classroom use. Pretty happy with it so far, look forward to taking more images of samples from items outside and in the water.
