Works as Advertised
Want to use as a roving mic while entertaining-singing & playing guitar which it does do with a reasonable range etc. However, I want to run the voice through my IC-Helicon Harmoniser by inputting the wireless mic's receiver into the "mic in" XLR slot and the transmitter into the "mic out" XLR slot. Had to buy a converter to make the 1/4" transmitter's connection to a XLR connection. It works but there is a pretty loud hum/whining noise emitted through the PA amplifier that is too loud for practical use. I haven't found a way to get rid of this hum yet, adjusted all controls possible. I think its because the Fifine system is UHF signal instead of 2.4 ghz which the harmoniser and wireless guitar system uses. I'm going to try a UHF wireless guitar system instead of the current 2.4 ghz wireless guitar system and see if that eliminates the hum/whining noise. Therefore the Fifine system is not what I really want but for $70 Cdn., its not worth returning for refund as I don't see any other systems on Amazon.ca that use 2.4 ghz at reasonable pricing that works with IPhone & iPad. Without the harmoniser, this Fifine wireless mic system works well except the wire from the mic to the transmitter is a pain trying to get it out of the way of my glasses and guitar strap and ponytail hair! Don' know about battery life yet.

The build quality of this set is very nice considering the low cost. The clip on the belt pack is solid metal, not a plastic clip you would be afraid to break. the headset boom is flexible and easy to manipulate to just where you need it. If you use Duracell or Energizer batteries in the units you will get longer runtime and more performance out the system.
You get quite a few pieces for the money and this would be good for a YouTuber like me or someone looking to set up a home recording studio without much cash outlay. As I said in the title of the review I am happy with the price even if it was just the wireless headset mic and belt pack transmitter with the 1/4" jack receiver. You also get an adapter cable that goes from 1'4" to 1'8" so the receiver can be plugged directly into your camera or camcorder. My camcorder does not accept microphone input since it has its own stereo mics onboard but it is nice to have it included in the kit. This way if I upgrade to a DSLR camera I will have everything I need to jack in the mic and have all I need.
Can I just mention that the headset is well designed? It leaves adequate access to your ears, so if you need to use headphones as well or in-ear monitors on stage the headset mic will not interfere. Well designed FiFine, well designed. :)
For a setup at this price point, it does not disappoint - lots of pieces, quality durable materials used in the construction. The only thing I wish there was would be the ability to mute from the belt pack and adjust the gain level but as I said for this price point...I am not complaining.
I highly recommend you check out this Wireless Microphone System, the K037B by FiFine, it is appropriate for the uses I suggested above and the quality is outstanding at this price. The seller shipped this out to me pronto and that was with free shipping since the bill was over $35. I would buy this again. I ordered this on Wednesday evening and received it on Friday morning and could not wait to try it out. I tested both the wireless headset mic and the lavalier lapel mic through a soundboard and powered studio monitors and also independently on a powered amplifier. I far prefer the wireless headset mic over the lavalier lapel mic but then I have never been a huge fan of lapel mics. I found the lapel mic too hard to control (had to jack up the levels on the soundboard way too high and with no gain control on the unit itself meant that I had to push the board to high levels to get mediocre sound output. I run the soundboard at our Church so I know what I am talking about here.Reviewed in Canada on January 20, 2019
