Ok first things first, are you going to be using this record professional voice overs? No.
But can you use it to practice and maybe get a job that would pay for a fancier set up? sure
Need something to improve your sound quality on zoom calls, to do some voice over for online teaching, or online teaching? Yes this will work great. Could you start your own podcast with this? I mean maybe.
The chassis is all metal and the cord while not detachable does seem quite durable. It is plug and play and gives impressive sound quality. The cable being permanently attached is a draw back for cable breakage or easy transport but it does mean that someone can use it every once and awhile and store it attached to stand and not then dig around for a cable.
Really the only down side I see to this is the stand. It is a metal stand that will do the job quite well it's rather short to get a great sound out of it. I would also get a deskstop stand or boom arm to go with this.
