What an excellent printer—feels like something of a toy—small, lightweight portable, but it does print! It is a thermal printer meaning that it requires no ink, just replenishment of thermal paper rolls, and requires charging via a very short USB to C cable. The description says it is a sticker printer but no stickers were included in the box, just 6 thermal paper rolls. The pics that get printed are quite small so the paper will probably last for a bit. Inclusion of a least one roll of sticker paper would’ve been great to assess that capability.It was easy to connect the printer to my phone via Bluetooth but first the Phomemo app had to be downloaded from the App Store. The app and printer connected immediately and easily without a lot of intervention. The only thing I really trouble with was getting the paper into the printer. It’s a bit fiddly getting it in the right way. You’ll know if it’s wrong because when you try to print, the paper will be blank.The app itself is easy enough to use. It comes preloaded with lots of clip art type pics to print, or to do lists or calendars, etc. but since of these templates are not in English so they not very useful. The items printed from the app templates came out nice and dark with thick black lines. The pics I printed from my camera roll came out somewhat grainy but upon toying with some of the settings I was able to get a nice printout (by using the print setting labelled “dedicated”). I think this aspect will require more exploration—adjusting the highlight, contrast etc. The grainy photos do have a vintage feel to them which is not necessarily a bad thing.I can see this as being something the younger set may love, when out and about, pics can be printed and shared immediately. Another use described is for journaling or scrap booking— all is which I can see using. I’ve yet to see how long the battery lasts but so far so good.

I got it with 6 rolls of plain paper figuring I can order sticker / adhesive paper if I decide I want to make stickers with it, given the limited lifespan of things printed on a thermal printer I hesitate to use it for journaling - but it would be convenient for place labels in a travel journal.
It works with the phomemo App, it comes up as M02L and connecting via Bluetooth was a snap.
Overall, glad I picked this up, having fun with it and getting good use out of it.
