I am an exclusive pumper, and already had the Medela Pump in Style, but had read that I might be able to increase my supply with a manual pump. The first Harmony pump I received had a defective handle and broke INSTANTLY (as pictured). I had already just had my electric Medela pump “warrantied” as it wasn’t working well after 1 month so I was pretty upset with their product quality. It takes forever to hear back from them through their website form so I messaged them on instagram and was able to get a phone number for faster assistance.Once I got ahold of someone from Medela they sent new pumps right away, which was great. Both replacement pumps have so far been working good. I haven’t noticed an increase in my supply from the manual pump but I like to pack it in the diaper bag for when I’m on the go.

This product is amazing for breastfeeding mamas. If you don’t have a dual electrical pump this is the next best thing. I prefer this way more as it collects will so well. It works like a suction cup and fits all sizes. The milk collection is super fast and pain free, I loved using this along with my electrical pump, as it collects milk on one breast while the pump works on the other one. It is super easy to clean and honestly such an underrated product.

I bought the Medela freestyle 2.5 years ago for my first son. I loved it. When I had my second son, the wearable hands-free shells were new to the market so I bought them. I enjoyed them but after a month of exclusive pumping I was sooo tired of washing dishes.

My sister-in-law encouraged me to buy this product because it was her favourite (less parts to wash and quick milk collection). I caved and bought the product…. WHY ON EARTH DID I EVER SPEND HUNDREDS ON ELECTRIC PUMPS??? This thing is the GOAT. It made pumping for my sons nicu stay SO much easier. I spent less time pumping, less equipment needed to carry around and most of all… less time washing dishes! I was able to spend more 1:1 time with my sons.

Pair this with the medela microwave steam bag and it’s CHEF’S KISS. I haven’t touched my electric pump since buying this product.

This is the pump I got for my second baby. I still have the large Medela In-style pump, but I needed something more portable and lighter, like most moms who buy this. I can tell you that this pump is the ONLY pump I use now; read on to see why.

Paired with the correct size nipple shield, this pump's suction is comparable to that of the electric pump. It is actually better, because you are fully in control of the suction and can slow down or speed up as you need, using just one hand. This is something that is not easy to do with electric pump, unless you are wearing a pumping bra, at which point the pumping session becomes a production. If you are exclusively breastfeeding and need a pump here and there to maintain supply or an occasional feed while you are away, this is the only pump you need. Do not waste your money on larger, bulkier pumps.

Also, and I feel like this is very important, this pump has no wires attached, which means if you want to pump in bed in the first weeks after giving birth, you don't have to worry about finding a power outlet to pump since getting around can be an issue first few weeks after delivery.

Lastly, you can take this pump on the go. It's packable, unlike larger pumps. Cleaning is easy, but you can get extra pieces/parts and have clean "sets" with you to use.

So, yeah, get this one, you wont regret it!

 I have never been more eager to write a review like I am for this pump… I am SO disappointed and SO upset even worse that I couldn’t return it.
I am no stranger to manual pumps so it is not like I don’t know anything about them…
I was actually looking forward to trying medela specifically because it’s a well known breast pump only company and I have other products that I really like…
First of all, the suction is not that great, it takes a while before something comes out (which I get might take some time but over 5 minutes is too long) when there’s finally milk, it doesn’t extract that much (I have had some times that it did) but 90% of the time not… that’s no good.
I have to say, right after I try, I use another pump and I get milk, also my baby will drink and she will drink a lot, it’s not like I have no milk, so somethings wrong…

The assembly is probably the only convenient thing and pretty easy to clean compared to other brands. BUT the yellow part that twists inside, IS SO HARD TO UNTWIST, it’s so frustrating, also, the milk leaks from the handle if the pump isn’t up straight (see video) which was the most frustrating thing that I found out after the first uses which already were terrible because of the lack of milk that came out to start with.
I’ve had this pump for a few months… I’ve tried and tried to make it work and like, but I just can’t…

I love this handheld pump so much more than my momcozy electric pumps. I like that you can see the breastmilk coming out and you can see how much of a letdown you have. This pump also collects a lot more than others. I would definitely recommend this handheld pump to every new Mom. It’s also a lot quicker and more efficient than the electric pumps. I had to buy a smaller flange for it but that was really easy. It’s also super easy to clean as there is really only one part that has to be cleaned. The bottle goes into the fridge and the flange has to be washed and sanitized handle and the base don’t have to be washed and sanitized every time so it honestly makes Cleaning so much easier and quicker, I like it a lot.

I thought it was too good to be true but I have kept getting the same results each morning. I have even gotten as much as 12oz in one sitting and it’s fast! I use it during the work day too every 2-3 hours and it’s so much easier because it’s less stuff to clean and so simple to use, unlike the electric ones which are a mess of a million parts, wires, plastic bags, etc. I have never written an Amazon review before but I feel like I need to tell all breastfeeding moms about this! I wish I had known about it before spending all that money on the wireless electric pump and getting depressed over my now very wrong assumption that I just couldn’t get results pumping. Buy this, it is seriously a game changer!
