So far so good! It's a bouncy mattress that seems comfortable! You can feel the spring coils a bit (but that just may be that I've been used to sleeping on a memory foam mattress for the past decade).We bought for our cabin, so it's not something we're sleeping on nightly, so time will tell how it lasts.

I had an old mattress and box spring but when I moved and I was going to have my room in the basement I found my box spring wasn't going to fit down the stairs so I had to look for a new bed. Not wanting to spend thousands on a new mattress I looked for these mattresses-in-a-box and found this one for a very good price. I was a bit concerned about the reviews saying the edges aren't very strong and they slip off the sides but they seem to hold up pretty well. Yes you can slip off the side a bit but not as drastically as people have said, you would have to sit on the very edge of it. I was also concerned about the crease in the center of the mattress after it was unpacked but it has not been an issues.

I'm not use to not using a box spring so I bought the 12" mattress. Overall this mattress has been very comfortable to sleep on and it was very easy to unpack. I let it sit for over 24 hours before sleeping on it and haven't had any issues. It's not too soft and not too firm either which is good considering my previous mattress was quite firm. Very satisfied with this purchase!
