Pros: The game is fun and there is a reason it's still the best selling Switch game to date. Driving in a Mario Kart game is a universal experience that is easy to pick up yet difficult to master and still feels satisfying to clutch out a victory boosting across a shortcut. There is a lot of variety of single player content to master among the Grand Prix cups and Time Trials, but the real value of the game comes from the infinite multiplayer experiences you can play with, locally or online. The online is still going strong and the game is still being updated with new DLC content and balance patches. The character choices and customization is almost comparable to Smash Bros and the accessibility options for beginners are welcomed to help kids get started better.

Con: I got the physical deal without knowing that the digital version was going on sale later for Mario Day. With the physical version you have to swap out the cartridge every time you want to play instead of always having it available and the digital version also allows you to redeem Gold Coins on the Nintendo eShop, so I might have preferred that instead.

Bought this for the kids at my sons birthday to play on, it worked great but, I had too many kids so it did really work out in his party. But we all play it as a family, my kid keep thinking they can bet me, after the fact that my husband and I played the original mario kart is so funny. They keep trying though.

This is by far my favorite switch game. With the DLC there are so many courses it’s hard to get bored. Great graphics, smooth gameplay, excellent accessibility options for many levels of ability. LOVE IT!
