4.0 out of 5 stars Buen control para jugar en pc
Reviewed in Mexico on July 11, 2024

Me gustó como se sienten los joystick, y no hace ruido como los de xbox normales,
solo lo he probado con pc y en un steam deck
En pc no he tenido ningun problema

This controller is way more bang for the buck than other controllers I've had. Everything feels smoth and responsive. The app free customizations and settings are great, everything is intuitive and simple. Can't recommend this controller enough

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent & Cheaper Alternative to an Xbox Elite
Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2024
Colour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
This is (so far) a really good controller that could end up being a major contender to the Xbox Elite design. I have (and used) both an Xbox Elite Series 1 and an Xbox Elite Series 2, and this controller compares closely with those. While the design is similar to the Xbox Elite(s), this controller is far lighter and has a bit more ergonomic feel in my opinion. It is slick though, and does not offer any grip pads out of the box.

The thumb sticks feel really good with equal ranges of motion and no sticking. They do not have tension adjustments, so you get what you get. The controller comes with two extended (longer) thumb sticks to swap between the two sets. The thumb sticks are interchangeable, by pulling them off, or snapping them in via plastic clip. They are not magnetic, like the Elite.

All of the controller's buttons (and D-pad) respond well and have good pressure and rebound. The controller’s force feedback is ok, but appears to be a bit restrained even on the highest settings. There isn't, as far as I can tell, any hepatic feedback on the buttons or triggers…could be wrong about that though.

Triggers are a bit soft and feel more like buttons than the traditional trigger feel you'd get with an Elite. The movement range of the triggers can be modified with switches/sliders, but it doesn't really help the trigger feel more like a trigger, even on the highest setting. With the setting on high, the triggers feel more like a large range "spongy" button press. The smaller setting though does make the triggers feel more like tactile buttons, if that's what you're after.

This controller has 4 "macro" buttons on the back, much like the Elite, that can be programmed to a macro (i.e., combined button presses), or mapped to any single button for added accessibility. These are true buttons that are sunk into the back. These do not have, nor can they have paddles like with the Elite.

The ability to use an onboard menu (via LED screen) to modify settings on the fly, and without installing yet another program, is a game changer and what really sets this controller apart from the pack in my opinion. The LED screen is clear and easy to see/read. The screen brightness can be adjusted. The onboard settings and programming menu is intuitive and easy to use. The settings are a bit limited though (i.e., no custom RGB, only basic colors or rainbow). Due to the location of the LED screen, the back/forward/home buttons are located at the bottom, which takes some getting used to.

This controller comes standard with a drop in desk cradle charger and a Bluetooth USB transmitter. Pairing the controller to the transmitter is a breeze using the onboard screen. You can charge/store the controller via the cradle when not in use. However, the controller does sport a USB-C port for charging directly with the cable while playing.

Apparently, the face plate is interchangeable, though I have not tried changing it out. The kit does not come with any additional face plates.

Overall, this seems to be a great controller and a worthy contender to the Xbox Elite. If you're on a budget and can't afford to shell out the $200+ for an Elite, this is (in my opinion) the next best thing. While I do list “CONS” below, these are somewhat arbitrary and amount to nothing more than being nit-picky.

PROS
+ Budget friendly
+ Lightweight
+ Onboard menu/programming via an LED screen...no bloatware to install
+ Comes standard with a cradle charger, cable, and a Bluetooth transmitter
+ Has an actual On/Off switch

CONS
- Spongy button like triggers
- Thumb sticks clip in and are not magnetic
- Limited “custom” settings
- Start/Select (Fwd/Back) buttons are located at the bottom...takes time to get used to
- No grips…slick plastic feel

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice feel but quasi compatible with steam
Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2024
Colour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
So I've been using this for the past few weeks now. I want to give this five stars but it's falling short because I can't get it to work with all of the steam games just a select few. For the ones it works on five stars for the ones they don't. Well, it's a waste and might as well stick with a keyboard & mouse. Maybe it's user error and this does work. If I figure out how to make it work then I'll modify this. But as of now it's a solid three stars maybe four because it's got great quality. You don't have to download any apps to use it and it doesn't break the bank.

2.0 out of 5 stars Almost the perfect controller
Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2024
Colour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
This controller is great out of the box, it feels good in the hands, a little bulky but it’s solid. Not needing 3rd party software is a huge selling point for me. The faces buttons are very firm which I personally like a lot. The trigger locks are a little too easy to turn off and on so I could see myself accidentally turning them on unintentionally, but this isn’t a big issue. My only complaint are the 4 back button macros.

First of all, I want to say that the placement and feel of these buttons are fine, the bottom most buttons contour perfectly to the tips of my fingers.

The issue is the actuation of these buttons. It must be an internal software/hardware issue. My problem is pretty niche for the game that this issue happens on. Using two back buttons at the same time results in a weird issue where instead of there being a continuous actuation of both buttons, theres a rapid actuation of both buttons. Almost like the two buttons are fighting against each other to actuate. Here’s the real life scenario. I have M2 mapped to LB and M4 mapped to B when I play rocket league. LB is air roll and B is boost, when I try to air roll and boost at the same time, my boost rapidly actuates (feathered is the term in game) rather than continuously using the boost. This greatly hinders my game when going for a high awkward aerial.

I will gladly change my review to a 5 stars whenever a firmware update is released to address this issue. Other than that I absolutely love this product.
