FREQUENT PREGNANCY TEST QUESTIONS:
- Q: How soon can pregnancy be confirmed?
A: Rapid pregnancy tests can provide results as early as the first missed period.
- Q: How do I know that the test was activated properly?
A: The appearance of a red line in the control area (C) indicates that the test activated properly.
- Q: Which factors may affect the test result?
A: Medications that contain hCG may cause a false-positive result. Alcohol, oral contraceptives, painkillers, antibiotics or hormone therapies that do not contain hCG should not affect the test result whatsoever.
- Q: How soon after I suspect that I am pregnant can I take the test?
A: You can test your urine as early as the first day you miss your period. You can perform the test any time of the day, however, first-morning urine contains the greatest amount of the hCG pregnancy hormone.
- Q: Do I have to test with first-morning urine?
A: Although you can test any time of the day, your first-morning urine specimen is usually the most concentrated of the day and would contain the highest level of hCG.
Ovulation Tests
FREQUENT OVULATION TEST QUESTIONS:
- Q: Once a positive result is obtained, when is the best time to have intercourse?
A: Ovulation is likely to occur within 24-36 hours. This is the most fertile time during the menstrual cycle. Sexual intercourse within this time frame is recommended to increase the chance of conception
- Q: Do alcohol or common medications affect the test?
A: No, but a physician should be consulted if you are taking any medication. Also, recent oral contraceptive use, breastfeeding or pregnancy could affect the results.
- Q: What time of the day should I perform the test? Do I need to use first morning urine?
A: First morning urine is not recommended, but urine collected any other time of day is suitable. For best results, try to collect urine at approximately the same time each day.
- Q: Will heavy intake of liquids affect the result?
A: Heavy intake of fluids prior to testing will dilute the concentration of the hormone in the urine. Limiting fluid intake for about two hours before collecting urine is suggested.

Do not recommend the HCG strips
Not a fan of these ! The LH strips always have a light pink strip but i believe that is normal since we have some LH in our system but it was difficult to understand when you ovulate as the line never really got dark like the control line... which was confusing. On day 14 I found the LH strips to be darker then what they were but deffenetly not the same color. so I figured that was my *your ovulating soon* sure enough, took another LH strip the next day and the line was lighter then the night before which meant it was done but still results werent clear and i fpund it to be more confusing then anything. As for the hcg strips, I took my very first , 4 days before my periode and got a very very light pink line so decided to take another the next morning and light again... and hte next day a bit darker but still light. It was frustrating more then anything as for someone whos been trying for a while, you dont know wether to have your hopes up or not. Went to the store bought a first responce 2 days before my periode & got a clear pink line. Worht spending 20$ for the first responce then these strips... they are confusing more then anything and deffenetly not sensitive. Attached you will find my first responce line 2 days before my periode whoch was clear along with the hgc strip the light one is the one I took before my first responce test. You can barely see it. I also attached a hcg strip a bit darker. That was the one i took today. I am now 3 days past my periode. The lines are still not the same. The control line is darker and the other is pink but not as dark. I do not recommend the hcg strips. & when communicating with the company i asked them what the results meant, and they said cant twll the lighting this and that and then in another picture they said well i can see a faint line but... i suggest you go talk to your doctor if you think you are pregnant. Which leads me to think they do not understand their own product. Not very impressed by theses.

At first I didn’t think these worked because they weren’t changing colour much around the time I was supposed to Ovulate.
But I was just late.
The like never turned darker than the control line, and apparently that can be common.
So just be sure to test 1-2x a day and you’ll catch them turning darker.
