These doodle boards are lightweight and come in four different colors which is for identifying which board belongs to whom. It also comes with 4 little string attachments so you can tie the pen/stylus to the board of your kids are prone to losing them. The Doodle boards are pressure sensitive, so even if you do not have a stylus to write on them, You can use your finger or any other object with a hard point. One feature that I really like, would be the lock function. On the back of the boards, You can slide the switch to the locked position which ensures that the image that you drew would not be erased by pressing the reset button on the front. This ensures that anything that you've drawn on the front can be preserved until you turn the lock off. I have purchased some other doodle boards in the past that did not have this feature, And it can be quite frustrating for my children when the button would be pressed by mistake and the entire screen would be erased. One other other advantage of purchasing these boards is that the battery is removable and therefore replaceable. Some other doodle boards have the battery entirely encased so that you cannot replace the battery and reuse the board once the battery runs out.
The last advantage of using these boards is that you do not need, to have any consumables (pens, pencils, erasers) to use them and they do not make a mess at all. You don't have to worry about pens or markers running out of ink, nor do you have to worry about getting ink on any part of your body or clothing.
These doodle boards are a great value - I think it is very well priced at $20 for four boards. Most other doodle boards of the same quality cost significantly more.
