The sound quality is great. The build quality is great. Comfortable to wear for long periods. I travel almost nonstop and bought this pair for listening to music in airports and on planes while I wait for repair parts for my broken m50x.
The only problem I had is the cord is too long for this and its permanently attached. I opened them up, shortened the cord by about half, resoldered it, retied the strain relief knot and put them back together.
Compares favorably with much more expensive pairs, bought these for under $40 and I treat them roughly.

The exact same product as the TASCAM TH-MX2 Studio Monitors, I think either are probably the best price to performance product with an above average durability, even without the modular audio cable this outlasts almost everything else I've tried. Fit is a bit tight, the cup material is a bit sweaty and the sound is worse than the $100 products I've bought in between that won't last half as long, but not by that much. Get them.

I am very picky about headphones and have had the same pair of Bose for the last 10 years. Anything I tried to replace them with just didn’t compare and end up returned. I use all Mackie speakers for DJing so I thought I would try the headphones and they did not disappoint!!! Very very clean full sound. The band is comfortable and not to tight out of the box, I often find headphones to tight. All genres are very clear and full in audio! Super happy with yet another Mackie product! :)

The only thing I can say is I wish the cable was removable rather than built in as I know that is what will cause failure down the road.

I bought these for my son, for music production work on the PC. I was blown away at how good they sound. They don't have a shrill high end treble like a lot of studio headphones, so they're a little warm sounding. You can hear the bass, and not worry about the high end making you (or your child) deaf.

I liked these headphones so much I ordered a higher end Mackie headphone for myself (MC-350) but I was shocked to discover the MC-100s are better... Not only do the MC-100s sound better, they fit better. MC-100s are second generation headphones. Mackie learned from their 150/350/450 series and released a higher quality headphone with the MC-100.

I would recommend this headphone for someone that needs studio headphones but can't afford something high end. And they're exceptionally good for a kid because they're affordable and relatively durable.
