About this item

  • [2-in-1 Dual Frequency] The Autel TPS218 TPMS sensors combine dual frequency (315MHz+433MHz) in one. With 100% original sensor ID cloning, the MX-Sensors can be replaced directly in the same position without relearning. Pairing with the Autel MaxiTPMS tools (TS601), all the Autel MX-Sensors can be activated, programmed, and relearned well so that you can highly effectively replace the old one.
  • [Upgraded Press-in Sensors, Easy to Install & Replace] These universal Autel sensors come with 2 types of interchangeable valves ( rubber/metal ), perform the same functionality as OE sensors, and even replace 98% of OE sensors with a 1-valve type. Press-in designed rubber/metal MX-Sensors can be quickly replaced without difficulty, to greatly minimize installation time and accurately match with the vehicle tires.
  • [Cover 99% Worldwide Vehicles] Why MX-Sensor is essential for all TPMS repair shops? 1) Same functionality as the OEM sensors but cutting your 1/2 cost; 2) Wider coverage for 99% of American/Asian/European vehicles increases more repair orders and profits; 3) Reducing inventory investment and storage pressure, technicians don’t need to prepare numerous sensors for different models. 4) Accurately reading sensor info. sensor ID, voltage, tire pressure, temperature, battery, etc.
  • [Autel Programmable MX-Sensors, Alternative for OE Sensors] Powerful 315/433MHz frequency achieves fast wireless programming to MX-Sensor TPS218. When working with Autel TS408/TS508/TS601/ITS600/MK808TS/MP808TS programming tools (sold separately), up to 20 MX-Sensors could be perfectly programmed at the same time, providing great convenience for replacing OE/Other sensors that are broken or with lower battery. Note: ONLY Autel Sensor can be programmed.
  • [Durable & Hard Design] Equipped with an automotive-level battery for longer life (5+ years) and a replaceable aluminum valve stem, the Autel sensors are resistant to cold & heat and corrosion and compatible with SAE J1205/J1206/J2657 test standard. For rare situations, we take no charge for sensors that hold manufacturing defects for 24 months or 24,000 miles. F

Why sensors seem defective?
I can calibrate the sensors or receive a signal from any of 4 sensors using a Autel calibration and test unit. What do I do to replace said items in photo....or why won't they calibrate prior to installation on 2015 Honda pilot with alloy rims. Previously no issues cal 12 units of same make??
Thank you for your feedback

Assuming you have the right tool, it's so easy to program. I have the Autel MaxiTPMS TS401. I used these sensors in a Toyota vehicle to clone my original sensors (for the winter tires set). I cloned them in less than a minute, that fast. They are working great so far.

Bought 2 sets (8 sensors) and spend over $400. Can't program it and can't return it because my return time expired. Verry UNHAPPY !!
After an unhappy beginning, I contacted the seller and their technical support was amazing. It ends up being software in my Autel TS508. Had to be updated. After their suggestion programming worked very well and I'm ordering more sensors from them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Try unplugging your cell phone charger, really

In brief, I was getting radio frequency interference from, of all things, a cell phone charger that fits into a 12 volt "cigarette lighter" power source. Nothing worked until I unplugged it and then it worked as expected.

My autel TS408 would program and read data from all my autel mx sensors, but would not trigger the vehicle relearn procedure.
I purchased the TS408 tool and 8 autel mx sensors from Amazon. I have a 2012 Ford F250 SD Super Duty.
The TS 408 programmed all 8 sensors with auto create. I was able to read the information from all 8 sensors. However, the sensors would only trigger the relearn procedure on the Ford intermittantly, and never all 4 tires at once to complete the relearn procedure.
I spent hours reading the manual, reading amazon reviews, watching youtube howto videos and repeatedly trying the relearn procedure.
I updated the TS 408.
I checked that the tire pressure is correct in all tires.
I tried driving the vehicle for a few miles before the relearn procedure.
I tested the sensors in different orders.
Autel technical support returned my call and spent about 45 minutes with me on the phone. They were very polite, listened well, tried to troubleshoot, but ultimately were unable to fix the problem.
I scoured the internet again, and found mentions of radiofrequency interference with the signal between the sensors and the RTM (radio transceiver module). The most common culprit mentioned were cell phone chargers. I unplugged the cell phone charger and Wow, it worked. Note other devices can also interfere, such as dash cam, radar detector, or GPS.
Hopefully this review will help other buyers, as I suspect others are having the same problem.

To Autel technical support, please be aware of this problem, as it is very frustrating and a quick easy fix.
