These 3-in-1 wireless Lavalier microphones are great for those who frequently record on the go, and with multiple devices. I got these because I daily an android, but find that my iPhone records better video, so I constanly swap between them. This make recording versatile for me, letting me pick whichever phone is within reach.Build:- Squishy filter: the sponge filter has a nice squish, not the cheap hard foam on cheaper microphones and similar to pop filters for dynamic microphones- Rear power button: On the TX mic, the power button is on the back, this is kind of inconvenient to reach for.- Fixed position clips: while you can remove the clips on the microphones, you can't adjust them, they can only attach sideways- Recessed USB-C on TX: on the TX mic, the port is recessed, this makes some cables unable to plug in and charge.- Mostly charged: these came almost fully charged, its nice to see as that keeps the batteries healthy- no carrying case: unless you want to use the box it came with, there's no carrying case, including one would've been nice- single connection cable: this is more of a nitpick, but the cable it comes with is only 1 usb-c. It would be nice to have one that splits into 2 or 3 as I've seen on other lavalier microphonesAudio Monitoring:- Analog USB-C Audio: This product supports audio monitoring, though you'll need an analog USB-C headset or adapter. Most modern earphones don't support it but it IS available which is nice to have- Both the Transmitters and Receivers support audio monitoring (which is very cool): you can monitor the recording live from the transmitter via analog audio USB-C, OR plug headphones into the 3.5mm jack of the receiver to accomplish the same result. This is great for me as I care a lot about live feedback but dont have my 1 USB-C analog audio adapter with me, but have plenty of 3.5mm earphones.- Sensitive sound: the audio monitoring is very sensitive to picked up sound. What you hear is before any DSP filtering and things hitting the mic really hurt your earsSound Quality:1. TRS jack: - recording from the TRS jack is quieter than the digital options as shown in my pictures- USB-C & Lightning: - clear voice: it picks up voice very well, even outdoors. Sounds of breezes and traffic's are filtered out - loud: even when clipped on the lower part of a coat, it picks up your voice really well thanks to the directional microphone, though after the mic is about a meter away, sounds get a lot quieterInterface:- mic transmitter: - there's a mute option, does what you expect - reverb mode: didn't notice much difference in a quiet room, might need to be tested more- receiver: - camera mode: this is the default option - it also has amplifier, phone mode - charging: it can't charge from the phone it's plugged into, it must be charged from the usb-c input. It will also still work and charge your phone
