This watch came without batteries, while the same model in stores come with them. I don’t own a micro-screwdriver to open the back, so it’s not ready to use and I’ll have to buy another elsewhere. For the price of the battery and the watch, you could get a complete stopwatch at any athletics store.

The stopwatch is good and is very well priced, and designed. However, it is advertised as a 'AA' Batteries stopwatch. -Total Scam or Advertising mistake- It is powered by a small cell battery. I bought it due to 'AA' batteries, which are easily rechargeable, just to find out it is powered by a small watch cell-battery.
There seems to be no manufactures that will make a stopwatch powered by AA or AAA batteries... And this one is no different, I guess.

On a side note:
Interestingly enough, and suspiciously, most of such manufacturers are moving away from AA and AAA batteries. They say they want to help the consumer and the environment, yet will not use sensible, basic rechargeable options such as AA and AAA batteries. Strange Conspiracy...

I cannot believe I missed writing a review for this stopwatch. I must have bought two of them in 2015. Seven years and they're still running as if I bought them yesterday. I had to mute the "beep" for my job to not interrupt the sound department on the film sets. Great tool for a script supervisor. I am fully digital now and don't use the stopwatches anymore, however, I always bring them as a backup.
