I was surprised by the quality of this microphone for the price, it not only sounds excellent, but it physically feels like a quality item. It is ready to use right out of the box, no assembly at all, I just plugged it in and it was live.
The only thing I find a little unusual is that it has no power switch, it is always powered as long as it's plugged in. This could be a problem if you are doing something like virtual radio or podcasting where you need to switch off your microphone at times. However, I expect anyone who's serious about those applications would buy a much more expensive product anyway.
