I was skeptical at first because of some of the reviews I read, but I'm so glad that I bought the blanket anyway! I ordered the larger version, which was 79x86in, and it fits perfectly on my king size bed. It's lightweight, cozy and a great value for the money. I get really hot when I sleep so I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up in the morning and realized that I hadn't woken up through the night sweating and kicking off the blankets. I might even buy a second one to keep on the couch for those cozy movie nights.

It is cool to the touch, especially when the room temperature is cool. So for example if the air conditioning is on this blanket will feel cooler. The only drawback is the cool side is very slippery, so much so that the blanket can literally slip right off you especially if you happen to be using it while in an upright position like sitting up on the couch.

So… 10/10 for this blanket. I was skeptical because I did not understand how this blanket was going to keep me cool, but i figured what the heck, it’s 50 bucks, if it doesn’t work then i just get an AC unit and call it a day. I Used it for the first time last night, I was so cold i had to put my duvet overtop of it. So it works. It will warm up to body temperature but as soon as you take it off your body; it cools down quickly.

Never had one of these before so here's my opinion. Blanket felt nice, very silky on summer side, pleasantly surprised the weight is light but you still feel the hug like a normal duvet. Nice cooling effect, even more so with fan on. My ancient "cooling" blanket wasn't like this so I actually found this super nice! BUT I didn't like the spring/warm side, the fabric didn't feel very soft, actually quite rough if you have cracked skin and some of the threads from that side came off side and clung to my bedsheets. Made me worry it would fall apart easier so I ended up returning it next day.

Edit: I'm trying on the new one I ordered right now, reverse side is pure cotton, and is much softer against my skin. It was also labelled Q-Max 0.4 but I can't feel a big difference from the Luxear brand (0.3) yet.
