So my cheap self was hoping it wouldn't work as well as it did because, well, I've never dropped more than a $10 bill on a hair product.I've been putting lus producta m in and out of my shopping cart for about a year without actually making a purchase. Finally it went on sale and I bought it. Part of me was hoping that it wasn't much different from my under $10 Mark Antony products (which I still like), but OH MY GOSH, this worked so nicely. I don't think I can go back. Luckily I'm stingy with how much I use...and I don't need to wash my hair every day, so the shampoo and conditioner should last a while. I will definitely need another bottle of the curl cream soon. The gel is nice and light.If you buy this, definitely watch a tutorial. I've been trying to make my waves defined and less weighted down for some time. The video tutorials on their website really made the difference.I told no one that I switched products, and I had compliments by a few coworkers immediately. I'm retiring my curling wand. My waves are now more curly. They are light and soft. They hold well. I'm very satisfied.

I dont usually write reviews about things but these products are amazing. My hair is type 2b . I always struggled figuring out a good routine. I would brush it out of the shower and leave it and i could never ever just leave it down. It would be straight in the front wavy in the back and It would be shaped like a triangle from my part to the ends. It would be so frizzy and awful. I honestly always had it tied back or in a claw clip and i hated it. Recently i was considering doing either a full perm or chemically straightened because it was just too much. After using this product twice Now i have defined waves, From the front of my hair to the back. My other half commented and said they looked beautiful. I have had other comment too saying they love my natural hair. The next morning i woke up and they were a bit unruly. So i sprayed some water in them and used the deep sea gel and voila. Back to normal! This stuff is a god send.

I've used this for 3 wash cycles now, and I like it. It's the dead of Canadian winter, and my hair is pretty limp and more wavy than curly in this dry cold. My results might change in another season.

I find I have to use more than 1 dollop of shampoo, probably 2 twonie-sized amounts. I use a scalp massager instead of my fingers. I've found that my hair is a bit squeaky afterwards, but unlike drugstore brands, I can still comb my fingers through while rinsing the shampoo out. So I'm not entirely sure it's actually drying, but in winter I don't want it to dry my hair.

I could probably use the deep conditioner, since the weather is quite dry right now and my hair has damage from being dyed, but the conditioner that comes in the kit is doing pretty well. It's not too heavy for my fine hair.

I got the curly leave-in treatment for extra definition, even though I'm 2C in summer weather. I think it does a good job of moisturizing my hair after rinsing everything else out. I use a mousse afterwards, though, so I don't know how much hold it has by itself. I guess winter would be the time to test that, less likely to get frizz midway through my wash cycle.

My hair lasts about 3-4 days before getting greasy, and possibly I could go longer, but I haven't found an opportunity to do that yet.

I've bought these products directly from the LUS site before, love them, so I figured I would search Amazon, and they have them! I love the way they smell and when I use them in the steps they make my curls pop. Even when I don't use the gel or curl cream the shampoo and conditioner alone make my hair so soft and shiny and still my curls stand out.

After recovering from the initial sticker shock, I did some sleuthing on Amazon and found it for a slightly less eye-watering price than in the stores we visited. So, we took the plunge, hoping it would turn her curls into a fairy tale.

I have fine curly hair. The shampoo and conditioner felt amazing and made my hair very soft. I personally did not like the step 3 foam nor the gel for my hair. I used very little of both but it felt like it was too much product for my hair.
