As a senior and having been very uncomfortable with the intense heat we've experienced this year I thought, with much scepticism, would give this blanket a try.
It actually does work! Using it for sleeping has provided a bit of a cooling affect and I'm not as wrestless. Have also used it by day to cover shoulders or legs as a slight reprieve from the heat.
It is a bit heavier than expected but maybe the weight assists keeping the slippery side in place.
It washes up nicely.

When folded it feels a bit heavy, but is quite light once unfolded. The warm side isn't particularly warm as it is thin and you can feel the cooler side through it.
