This is a solid, sturdy ramp. It folds up nicely to fit so easily in the trunk, on the floor of the backseat, etc. The handle on the inside makes it easy to carry in and out of the house or car and it’s not too heavy even though it’s definitely built well - not flimsy at all.
We have an 80lbs dog and use it with confidence. Perfect as he ages and has a harder time jumping in and out of the car. We’ve also used it on the side door of the pickup truck - it’s not meant for this but we’ve made it work.

I purchased this ramp to help my 60 pound older arthritic dog get in and out of a truck and SUV ( my back was getting sore lifting her).
I debated trying this as I had one before that was more expensive, she hated the rubberized surface and would not use it. I am so glad I tried this one, after letting her practice walking on it inside a few times with a very small incline and a lot of treats I progressed to the truck, with a little guidance using the handle on her harness she went up the ramp, yay! I kept the incline gentle at about 25 inches, due to her arthritis, by putting it at the base of the seat then letting her step up onto the seat with just a little boost. She has since become a pro after just a couple of days and is much happier than when I lifted her as she keeps her independence. The ramp is well made, strong and with a very paw friendly ridged carpet that my dog feels comfortable with. Even though I purchased the long 71 inch ramp it folds up into a small square with a comfortable handle to carry it, it folds securely and does not flop open when carried but is still easy to open and set up, I actually balance it on my feet and just flip it open and put in place...I am a 58 year old woman and have no issues with the weight it seems lighter than my last one, it has a clip you can use to stop it slipping if necessary though it has nice rubber feet that hold it in place. It does not have sides which I was a little worried about before it arrived but it has not been an issue at all as I just line her up squarely to the end and guide her up, she has always been a bit of a clod but has had no issues .
Lastly I had a couple of questions and the customer service was immediate, friendly and informative.
I highly recommend this ramp.

this ramp is excellent for my boy. he is only 3 but its a blessing for both him and my back. I don't have to lift him into the truck anymore. the best part is the ramp has carpet like material which helps him grip it when walking up. One thing is I wish there was a foldable handle on the side instead in the middle which is hard to access with you are unfolding it. and it could be a little lighter but it is compact and easy to store in the car / truck when not in use. excellent value for the cost. I have compared many and this is by far the best value for what you get. I recommend this.

Product was advertised as heavy duty able to withstand 200+ pounds of weight. Our dog is 50Kg and the ramp warped. It is also very narrow and not wide enough for big dogs coming out of a truck. If intended for a car, make sure car doors open wide enough, as ramp would need to be angled and is unstable since it can not be secured to anything with its hook.

Pretty decent ramp and our dog seemed to take better to the carpet material. Folds/unfolds fairly easily, not too heavy. Unfortuntely the bottom panel broke when I stepped on it to test the feel/bounce of it (our pooch is a little sensitive!)... it's rated for up to 220lb and I weigh 130lb. We have bought a replacement though as we're otherwise happy and it seems to handle our 80lb dog's weight and momentum without any issues.

I bought the 71” L x 20” w ramp for suv. I was so excited to find a ramp that was long and wide for my dog. Have a 105 lb Doberman who is a senior and has more trouble lately jumping into my SUV. I order this ramp based on the information. I was extremely disappointed when I used it.

The pro’s: it is light weight. Has an amazing handle and folds up for easy storage. It looks nice and was easy for me to use it. The width in this is amazing; my dog felt secure with the width. The length is good but ended up being too steep with my car.

The con’s: I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. The ramp would not hook to the back of my suv. I have 2 separate hooks and the ramp
Is set up for a single latch. (I could have figured something out to make it work). The most important problem was that is bowed pretty bad when my dog walked on it. She is 105 lbs and ad says ramp can hold up to 285 lbs. I had a friend lie under the ramp to make sure it was secure,) since we couldn’t use the attachment to secure it to the back of my car. It was as also steeper than I had anticipated and it was very slippery. I could have added some secure strips to make it less slippery but in the long run, it seemed like I had to make alot of adjustments on an item that bowed alot when my dog walked on it; and it already isn’t cheap.

It is a nice product and I am disappointed that it didn’t work for me but maybe if you have a smaller and newer suv it might work better. My Tahoe is higher than my daughters suv( she has a 2015 Toyota RAV 4)

I really wish this had worked for me but back to searching I go…

We have tried several ramps over the years for our large dog who has arthritis, and this is the easiest to use. She finds good traction on the carpeted surface and it’s wider so she seems more confident on this ramp. She takes a little coaxing to get started but then continues up and down on her own.

It’s also lighter and more compact when folded up, so it’s easier to place in the backseat. We will be able to take her more places and enjoy more nature walks with her now.

Folding and unfolding is. A little cumbersome and time consuming but once the ramp is set up you can see the benefit. I have three suvs, a jeep, suburban and Colorado. Using the step rails makes it easiest for the narrow doors on jeeps and Colorado. For the suburban getting to the door jam is easy. Our dog is 8 and a few months hurt his leg playing but you can see the force of the dog jumping in and out of suvs. thought it better to get it now before he may really need it. The jeep door was partially in the way but he was able to navigate up and over to the seat.

My dog is a sheepadoodle and is larger size dog and weighs 85 pounds.
