LifeVac Emergency Choking Rescue Device

LifeVac is a non-powered single patient portable suction device developed for resuscitating an aspirating victim when the standard protocol has been followed without success.

The negative pressure generated by the force of the suction is 3 times greater than the highest recorded abdominal thrusts.

Since its inception, there has been hundreds of accounts from users of having used LifeVac successfully in a choking emergency. Some of these accounts have been by EMS other medical professionals who have used LifeVac when other choking protocols have failed.

LifeVac is easy to use, just place-push-pull. LifeVac has now recorded hundreds of lives saved during choking emergencies including more than 200 children.

The LifeVac Home Kit comes fully equipped with an adult mask, a pediatric mask, a practice mask, instructions and Choking prevention tips.

Based on the mask manufacturers guidelines for the pediatric mask, 10 kg or 22 lbs. (approximately 1 year old) is the recommended minimum weight for a proper fit.

I will start with saying, thankfully we have not had practical use of this device!

With that being said, this product is designed to save lives. I am a first responder and have the experience and knowledge of dealing with choking in all ages, I can tell you that the fear of someone choking, especially a family member or someone in your home, is real. Add in In knowing it is something where seconds can matter, having this device on hand greatly increases your chances of helping someone in need.

The device is so easy to use! We have trained our teenage daughter and babysitters on its use. A simple methodology and quality design and construction brings a sense of ease and confidence should we ever need to use it. It fits in our diaper bag and travels with us on our excursions! With the toddler and adult sized mask, we are ready for an emergency!

 I tried it on myself pulling with the vac and there actually is a very strong suction affect even for an adult, so I’m pretty sure this will work very well if ever I unfortunately have to use it on me my spouse or my children. comes with clear instructions and with a paper that offers you a free replacement if ever, you need a new one because you used it.

I do find it’s a bit on the pricey side, considering that this must cost only a few dollars to produce but if it will save a life I guess it’s worth the price

I have not had the chance to use it, thank God! 🙏🏽 but I do need to say, equipment like this should not be heavily price. We are putting a price tag on whether someone deserves to live or not. Here we are playing God. I think the price seriously needs to come down for the parents who can't afford ,or anyone who is struggling but needs this !
