Got this item as a Warehouse Deal item and it works as intended. In fact, the pricing is actually better than the local discount hardware store here for the 14AWG wire size at the same 50 ft length. The reason why I didn't give this item a 5 star is as follows:

1. The lighted end only applies to the far end of the cable. The end that's plugged into the wall is not lighted.
2. The appliance end of the plug has a plastic lip on the opposite side of the ground pin. This design is problematic for some appliances where the lip can prevent the plug from being inserted into the appliance receptacle. I was able to cut this off just fine, but it's a bit annoying to have this little lip in the first place.

Otherwise, this item works fine the way it is and worked fine with my lawnmower.
