It's very fast and quite useful. You should definitely have this in your toolkit if you are a photographer or work with anything that has a Mini SD. In my case I have a couple of drones and so I extract data and this is my go-to since it's really fast.
Note. I haven't tried this with an adapter for USB 3 so I wouldn't know how fast or good it is. If you don't have USB C , than check other reviews before buying.

Simple , fast and compact. Beware when inserting the SD card as it’s Not mentioned or shown which side to be inserted. The label on your Card should appear upside down when Correctly inserted and the light turns color.
And note the MiniSD cards are opposite to that - label showing when inserted on the light side.

I have a lot of these lying around so I never have to go searching. All from different manufacturers. But this is my favorite. First the speeds with uhs type ii are superb, better than I get with any other manufacturer. Second, the Micro as slot is SO handy as I can do my camera footage and my drone or action cam footage at the same time. Don't buy seperate ones for different SD card sizes, buy this and get unparalleled speeds and handiness.

I deal with large photos regularly. My photos are generally about 24-30 MB in size and when I come back from a photo shoot or two, I may have 50GB (or more) to transfer. I already had a memory card that could be read fast, but I could never find a compatible reader until I bought the Lexar Professional USB 3.2 Type-C Dual-Slot Reader. The transfers are now at the limit of the memory card (which is slower than the max read speed from the dongle). I love this product and if anything happened to it, I would buy it again!
