The ideal choice for slime.

The cheaper alternatives are like diaper absorbent, but these have inconsistent particles with little striations that imitate real snow and bond well in slime.

It is expensive, which is my only downside. I feel something rather simple should be cheaper in large quantities, but the price probably reflects its novel nature.

The inevitable pace of evaporation had been reducing the snow in my Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer desk display over the past couple of Christmases so The Abominable and Same the Snowman just wouldn't stand up anymore. Even Clarice was tippy. I added this and it's back to full, fluffy drifts for everyone. All all the Misfit Toys look at comfortable again.

The instant snow looks just like the picture and my daughter loves it for making slime! My only complaint is that I thought the bag would be bigger, I guess I should have paid closer attention to the dimensions. For $12, it’s not a very big bag. Also the instructions on the back of the bag with the ratios of water to powder don’t work. My daughter has been making it using her own instinct.

We got this in hopes it would make cloud slime. It does not. My daughter followed the instructions and then added it to the slime she’d made, and it did absolutely nothing except make the slime too hard. It ruined her slime. I don’t recommend this product unless you have other plans for it.
