There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
As for the rest, I just manage to set it up.
Can't wait to see if callers can see the difference.
Frustrated, I turned to Leitner as a last resort and wasn't disappointed. This is the headset I should have bought originally. Their promo material says the company was founded by an ex-call centre manager and I believe it. Everything on the set makes sense. It's got a separate mute button that's you can feel without having to see it; it's got a prominent power button/LED on the headset and a battery indicator on the base; it's lightweight and very comfortable on the head; call quality and range are great. Oh and their help videos are outstanding, backstopped by an actual human if you ever need that level of help (I didn't), unlike again some of their competition.
This is just about the perfect headset. In a perfect world I'd up the rate of the audible mute indicator from 10 minutes to say, 2 minutes, but this is very minor. Well done, Leitner!

As to the product itself, it serves its function well in my quiet office environment. The caller volume is adequately loud and adjustable. Most important, my clients all indicated their reception was excellent. Without much noise in the background, I can’t speak to the quality of the noise cancellation, other than my previous comment.
The cradle/charger/base is small and convenient. It’s easy to put the headset in the cradle and remove it. I keep it there when not in use, without any apparent deleterious effect on the battery life. I have used the headset for several hours without recharging, the foregoing notwithstanding. LED lights on the base are easy to read and let me know at a glance whether the headset is charging or fully charged.
The headset is comfortable. I frequently forget I’m wearing it. I pace a lot. Never had and issue with a disconnect at distances up to 30 feet (haven’t tried further) and through walls. Similarly, I’ve never had a client complain of a falloff of voice quality or volume.
A good news/bad news point. The earcups are attached to the headset by two plastic balls that snap into place. The good news is that this allows the earcups a degree of motion, providing comfort. Also, it allows for inexpensive replacement of the cups if and when they wear out. The bad news is that one of the earcups falls off, not infrequently. I’m not sure whether I’m causing this by pulling out of the cradle rather than lifting up or if it’s just a tad lose and is getting knocked off in use. Snapping it back into place will likely cause wear and the problem to increase with time.
The price necessitates this being top of the line in its class. Clients’ perception of voice quality is far more important than a few dollars of savings. In this regard the LH275 is worth every penny.

I looked through a lot of reviews on a few different brands and models. When I research products for purchase, I go through a series of mental filters. I usually start with the easy filter--looking at the total number of and distribution of customer reviews and comparing the number of 4-/5- star reviews with the number of 1-/2- star reviews. If I see a very favorable consensus, I start to dig into the 1-/2-star reviews to see if they are real issues or if it might be user error.
The reviews for the LH275 were overwhelmingly positive, and there were only a couple each of 1-/2- star reviews. At the time of this review they boiled down to price (yes, it seems to be high--but I'm a little more forgiving), not automatically answer when picking the headset up (a default setting that can be fixed easily), short battery life (the seller's representative reached out to the customer quickly to rectify), and poor fit and sound quality.
Finally, before I made my decision, I made sure that the headset was compatible with my office phone (Cisco CP8841).
Based on my assessment of the reviews, confirmed compatibility, and the proactive support in the reviews section, I decided to purchase one. I figured that if I ran into problems, I would have a support network.
I was encouraged when I received an email from Headsets.com the day after I received the headset with a direct line to support, if I needed it. A few days later, I received another email offer for a Headset Concierge (if I need absolutely ANYTHING) from Joe Randazzo at Headsets.com. I can tell that they care about their customers.
I got the headset last Friday and charged it up at home before coming into work on Monday. Monday morning, I got into work and started setting up the headset. I had noticed some of the positive reviews even mentioning that setup can be a little tricky; so, I made sure to read that section of the manual carefully. I did have a couple of false starts, but it didn't take very long to get up and running.
I also plugged the USB into my computer and switched over to the PC to see how it worked. It was convenient to not need a separate headset for occasionally listening to my computer (e.g. taking online training). The only trick there is to remember to switch the headset source back to the phone--pilot error ;).
I've only been using the headset for a few days now, but I really like it. I will agree with some reviewers that the prices is a bit high, but I think some of that goes into the support after the sale. Even so, there are probably other high quality headsets that cost less, and for cost alone, I withheld one star.
So, if you find this model expensive and don't think you'll need a high level of support, you may be able to do better--on the other hand, if you like the comfort of knowing that you have a support network that is eager to help you get the most out of your headset, you might decide that it is worth the extra expense. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
