This was purchased for an office setting. On first use the sound was a problem. The headset came with clear directions to call for assistant which I did and it was fixed quickly from a setting on the base. The agent then went over all the features with me. It was a very good experience - thank you! The sound and reception is great. I have purchased a second one and plan on getting 2 more for the other staff in the office.

We had some trouble getting the sound quality to be good so we called Ricky and he was incredible. Patient and so good at explaining what to do. We had it plugged into the phone and he suggested we plug into the computer. When we were finished the sound on the headset was perfect. It's very light and comfortable as well. We are really happy we purchased this headset for our office. Consider this model and company "tried and true". thanks Ricky.

Komika was fantastic!
As for the rest, I just manage to set it up.
Can't wait to see if callers can see the difference.

I purchased three competitor headsets that were more prominent brand names, and each one had what I'd call a silly feature -- one combined the mute and volume on one small button; another required software installed on your computer before you could see the headset battery level (difficult if not impossible these days in large organizations due to IT policy); another one only sometimes worked.

Frustrated, I turned to Leitner as a last resort and wasn't disappointed. This is the headset I should have bought originally. Their promo material says the company was founded by an ex-call centre manager and I believe it. Everything on the set makes sense. It's got a separate mute button that's you can feel without having to see it; it's got a prominent power button/LED on the headset and a battery indicator on the base; it's lightweight and very comfortable on the head; call quality and range are great. Oh and their help videos are outstanding, backstopped by an actual human if you ever need that level of help (I didn't), unlike again some of their competition.

This is just about the perfect headset. In a perfect world I'd up the rate of the audible mute indicator from 10 minutes to say, 2 minutes, but this is very minor. Well done, Leitner!

I couldn't be happier with this headset. It's exactly what I wanted and arrived super quick! It's very comfortable and the sound quality is spot on. It's so nice being able to switch between a desk phone (Polycom) and my PC. Great purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price for quality and service

First and foremost, the customer hand holding was extraordinary. I received an unsolicited call from Raghu asking if I had set up the LH275 and if it was working to my satisfaction. I had not unboxed it yet and asked Raghu to call me back in two days. His return call was prompt. While not difficult to set up, the headset did not appear to be working well. Raghu walked me through all the tweaks until it functioned to perfection. He also answered patiently numerous questions I had both hypothetical and otherwise. Subsequently, he called back a day or two and then again a few weeks later to make sure I was still satisfied.

As to the product itself, it serves its function well in my quiet office environment. The caller volume is adequately loud and adjustable. Most important, my clients all indicated their reception was excellent. Without much noise in the background, I can’t speak to the quality of the noise cancellation, other than my previous comment.

The cradle/charger/base is small and convenient. It’s easy to put the headset in the cradle and remove it. I keep it there when not in use, without any apparent deleterious effect on the battery life. I have used the headset for several hours without recharging, the foregoing notwithstanding. LED lights on the base are easy to read and let me know at a glance whether the headset is charging or fully charged.

The headset is comfortable. I frequently forget I’m wearing it. I pace a lot. Never had and issue with a disconnect at distances up to 30 feet (haven’t tried further) and through walls. Similarly, I’ve never had a client complain of a falloff of voice quality or volume.

A good news/bad news point. The earcups are attached to the headset by two plastic balls that snap into place. The good news is that this allows the earcups a degree of motion, providing comfort. Also, it allows for inexpensive replacement of the cups if and when they wear out. The bad news is that one of the earcups falls off, not infrequently. I’m not sure whether I’m causing this by pulling out of the cradle rather than lifting up or if it’s just a tad lose and is getting knocked off in use. Snapping it back into place will likely cause wear and the problem to increase with time.

The price necessitates this being top of the line in its class. Clients’ perception of voice quality is far more important than a few dollars of savings. In this regard the LH275 is worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Headsets!

We purchased two headsets for our office about a month ago. So far they have been great! We had a little issue at the beginning with callers not being able to hear us very well, but we were able to correct it. Using the headset with my PC required a few extra setup steps. But everything has been great so far! Easy to use and sound quality is great!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best & Amazing Product Support

This firm provides an excellent quality WIRELESS product. Meaning, it works, filters out background noise, still works 100-200 feet away from its base, is comfortable wearing and has very/very long battery life. Additionally, if you have questions, their support staff are liquid gold assets to speak with. In my experience, they quickly determines different version of its headset product was needed and sent me return labels and QUICKLY sent me a different version of its product that “best met” my needs: how many other headset providers would “voluntarily do so?? IF YOU WANT A HIGH QUALITY HEADSET, this firm is the answer. FYI, this wireless headset replaced my former “wired one.” I was very reluctant to trust going wireless, but no longer with this company’s product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good hardware, Great support

I bought this headset to replace a Plantronics monoaural headset that I'd had for more than a decade--it's second battery had finally stopped holding a charge. While the old headset was nothing to write home about, it was good enough to fill my needs for a decade. Even so, since I needed either a new battery or a new headset, I thought I would treat myself to a better headset experience.

I looked through a lot of reviews on a few different brands and models. When I research products for purchase, I go through a series of mental filters. I usually start with the easy filter--looking at the total number of and distribution of customer reviews and comparing the number of 4-/5- star reviews with the number of 1-/2- star reviews. If I see a very favorable consensus, I start to dig into the 1-/2-star reviews to see if they are real issues or if it might be user error.

The reviews for the LH275 were overwhelmingly positive, and there were only a couple each of 1-/2- star reviews. At the time of this review they boiled down to price (yes, it seems to be high--but I'm a little more forgiving), not automatically answer when picking the headset up (a default setting that can be fixed easily), short battery life (the seller's representative reached out to the customer quickly to rectify), and poor fit and sound quality.

Finally, before I made my decision, I made sure that the headset was compatible with my office phone (Cisco CP8841).
Based on my assessment of the reviews, confirmed compatibility, and the proactive support in the reviews section, I decided to purchase one. I figured that if I ran into problems, I would have a support network.

I was encouraged when I received an email from Headsets.com the day after I received the headset with a direct line to support, if I needed it. A few days later, I received another email offer for a Headset Concierge (if I need absolutely ANYTHING) from Joe Randazzo at Headsets.com. I can tell that they care about their customers.

I got the headset last Friday and charged it up at home before coming into work on Monday. Monday morning, I got into work and started setting up the headset. I had noticed some of the positive reviews even mentioning that setup can be a little tricky; so, I made sure to read that section of the manual carefully. I did have a couple of false starts, but it didn't take very long to get up and running.

I also plugged the USB into my computer and switched over to the PC to see how it worked. It was convenient to not need a separate headset for occasionally listening to my computer (e.g. taking online training). The only trick there is to remember to switch the headset source back to the phone--pilot error ;).

I've only been using the headset for a few days now, but I really like it. I will agree with some reviewers that the prices is a bit high, but I think some of that goes into the support after the sale. Even so, there are probably other high quality headsets that cost less, and for cost alone, I withheld one star.

So, if you find this model expensive and don't think you'll need a high level of support, you may be able to do better--on the other hand, if you like the comfort of knowing that you have a support network that is eager to help you get the most out of your headset, you might decide that it is worth the extra expense. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Ordered this based on the reviews and comments about customer service. Shortly after getting my unit I began to have issues and they sent a second unit. Second unit worked fine for a few months and then more issues. They sent a 3rd unit that was dirty and was used. Ear piece and boom mic had crap on it and the metal was rusted. I obviously got a used unit despite emails that I was getting a new unit. I sent photos of the dirty and rusted unit. They apologized and sent a 4th unit. Dirty unit was returned and they did troubleshooting on my original unit (technically 2nd unit) while waiting for a 4th unit to arrive. That reset improved battery life which is no where near what is advertised but the biggest issue was my callers could not hear me. Charge only lasts 5hrs before going dead so I have to use an alternate headset (a $20 wired set) for the remainder of my shift. The noise cancelling is subpar as you can clearly hear background noises on my call recordings. But they were able to correct the volume issue and I can now be clearly heard to callers and when reviewing recordings. When the 4th unit they shipped to replace the dirty unit arrived, I did not need it. Never even tested it to see if battery life was better and also returned it the next day. Now a month later, they are claiming it was never returned and are trying to charge me another $300. I purchased this 8 months ago and have had repeated issues. They kept telling me it was my phone yet every phone I ordered that they said would work did not fix the issues. I purchased and returned about 4 phones. I would have returned the headset but of course issues started literally within 3 weeks of return window closing. The phone was never the issue as the call center phone I was using with the first unit is again in use with the 2nd unit with no issue. I have repeatedly told them all units have been returned and sent photos of my unit displaying the model and serial numbers to prove I am using the original unit. But they are still telling me I have 2 units that I do not and to check my house. Um, I took them both and dropped them off myself. For a $300 headset I should not have had the issues I have and as quickly. At first I was impressed with customer service but after sending a disgusting, rusty unit AND now trying to charge me another $300 for a unit I do not have, I can no longer recommend this product. It's really unfortunate since my company had asked for my feedback on the product since we have several hundred employees. Wireless headsets were just approved this year and Leitner and one other company claim to have high end non Bluetooth sets were suggested. Obviously I have shared this experience with the IT dept to remove them as an approved headset so at lot of potential income for Leitner is lost. I hope attempting to charge me another $300, which I will not pay, was worth it. I have no doubt this company will not honor the remaining 4yrs on my warranty. The only positive I still have is the sound quality of my callers is good. I should have just stuck with a cheap headset.
