It worked great but it would have been nice to get some instructions with it.

This 15.99$ LeFix 27" kit worked for a 27" i-Mac (late 2015, retina 5k). Before buying, make sure that you are ordering the right size and everything is ready. Before prying, my Mac was laid flat on it's back (horizontally on a quilt with books/pillows etc) as I do think prying in a vertical position is dangerous.

Based on reviewer's experiences whose screen fell-off or bottom of the screen was hard to remove, I pried-off screen (using supplied plastic tool) three sides only, gently lifting less than 1/16" at a time, equally at all three sides (top, left and right) and finally lifted it about 3"-4" high from top only, so I could pull out existing SATA cable from HDD end only and then placed and re-connected a brand new, pre-formatted (osx extended) 2tb SSD on top of existing old drive, which remained inside. I did'nt had to remove any LCD cables or screws from old drive. (I used 2tb SSD, so it could be partitioned to install two operating systems later on).
I did not glued back right away until I installed new os using a bootable OS USB. After making sure everything worked, had no fan problem etc, I glued it back gently and tapped upper two corners of the screen for safety, which remained there few days.

Notes:
1. There is enough space for 7mm thick SSD+ old cable and it wont hit LCD if you secure them with duct tape and leave it there. (I taped SATA connecter as well so drive wont fall off due to heating etc. No sensors were found or accessible.
2. Old tape was easily using finger nails, since screen was still connected at the bottom. No cleaner was used.
3. I had to cut and remove new tape about 1/2" (left+right sides) as it was harder to reach bottom side (I used new tape for three sides only while old tape at bottom was still intact). Since new tape is a double sided tape, I glued three pieces on metal faces only and I left protective plastic on (intact) until I ensured mac's new operating system was working good. It was then turned off, removed protective plastics, and glued for the good.
4. I Installed Big-sur with no problems with updates or fans etc. Did not buy two headed 50$ cable for SSD with temperature sensor either. No need of any fan-control app.
5. If following my horizontal dismantle/assembly approach, make sure that there is room for boot USB underneath the computer.
6. Before starting or installing new OS, re-set/clear ROM/RAM of your mac: i.e Press and hold option(alt)+command(win logo key)+P+R keys, all together and start the computer. Keep holding+pressed all those 4 keys together, until you hear 2nd chime (it will boot twice), then keep the option(alt) key pressed, and remove the fingers from other three keys. Once you see 'boot options' with HDD logos, remove your finger from option key (or alt key if using windows computer keyboard). Your boot USB (or any USB drive) will always appear as 'orange' in color (as opposed to black HDD logo, which is always reserved for internal hard drives (hdd). Use arrow keys to select USB and hit enter to boot from it.
WARNINGS:
1. Under any circumstances, do not use ANY metal objects with glass screen (LCD). It can easily chip-off.
2. Use thumb pressure to glue back screen with new tape. Don't apply any extra pressure or place any object/weight on screen to glue back.
3. Before glueing screen, apply some even-thumb-pressure downward so there will be no gap at the bottom of screen. Since my screen wasnt upright or vertical during the assembly, I had about 0.010" gap at the bottom of the screen after final assembly. This gap disappeared after 24hr's run: Thus it's quite clear to me that LCD somehow shifted itself when I-Mac was running hot.
4. Prior to dismantle of your mac, transfer all of your personal files, deactivate any softwares etc and if possible, make a back-up of old OS on a spare USB drive with time-machine. Also make/prepare a bootable USB of OS of your choice and ensure that it works by testing it.

EDIT: No problems after one year, though price of this tape got doubled. I will keep those 4 stars.

More than three months since the installation date. All good. No falling apart.
Watch a tutorial before installing it. Overall, it has been a good experience so far. I recommend it.

6am today the monitor fell out but somehow landed perfectly on the padded seat of the chair and looks like it may be ok. Installing I removed every last bit of old adhesive strip and cleaned both sides with isopropyl alcohol, let the new adhesive strips set with the computer lying down for a day and a half. Before putting it upright I added 4 little strips of Gorilla Duct Tape to the top edge and left them on for a month. Took off the extra tape I had put on a week ago but today early in the morning we hear a bang. Not impressed. POS!

It's an insanely unpleasant process to go through... as I've done a few and I can say that vs the 10 seconds it USED to take back when the iMac display glass was held on with magnets, were MUCH better times and time spent fixing something. This is a really good adhesive kit so the only reason I gave 2 Stars for Easy-to-Use as there can never be anything said to be EASY about putting a 2011 iMac display back on. Many people reportedly just tape it back on around all sides and leave it at that... at least THAT way, IF you ever need to go back into the iMac again, you won't have to waste 40+ minutes putting the display back on again with these adhesive strips JUST b/c of lousy design work by Apple :-/

Will be better if it has a manual. For the bottom pieces, you need to align from the edge firstly, learned from mistake but still good

Exactly what I needed. With a bit of care the iMac screen was removed easily using only the wheel in the cutter so I don't know when I would need all the replacement wheels. Adhesive strips are a good fit. I was reluctant to risk breaking a costly screen by opening an iMac, but with this wheel tool made it easy and with little risk of damaging anything inside the iMac because the wheel goes just deep enough to remove the screen. Only place to take some care is over the camera which is really close to the edge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Perfectly - New life in my iMac 5k

I had a 2015 iMac 5k that was sitting unused due to Apple not allowing it to run the more modern MacOS. I decided it would be worthwhile to replace the awfully slow rotary drive with an SSD and install only Windows 11. Gaining access to the drive was the biggest step. The tool that comes with the foam adhesive strips worked flawlessly and I only used one cutter wheel in the process. Once gaining access to the inside, I did the drive swap and then remove every trace of the original screen adhesive. Afterward, I cleaned all surfaces with 90% isopropyl alcohol. The new strips were installed and the screen placed back in position. I kept painters tape around the edge of the screen overnight just to give support to the heavy glass while the adhesive settled in. A day later, I removed the tape and the adhesive strips are an absolute lock on the monitor. Zero damage to my iMac in this process and I was able to get everything perfectly aligned as it came from the factory.

I installed Windows 10 first then used a software tool to force update it to Windows 11. Windows 11 works perfectly and it’s fast. I played a few hours of Halo Reach and Call of Duty World at War and it’s handled it all with ease. What a nice way to breath new life into this older iMac.
