About this item
- WARNING: If your dog suffers from severe separation anxiety and is a very aggressive hound dog, it will be possible for it to chew through the bars of the crate and escape from the crate, to avoid bringing you an unpleasant shopping experience, it is not recommended that you buy this crate for unusually aggressive oversized dogs.
- 【Excellent Quality】-Made of high quality, corrosion-resistant steel with non-toxic surfaces and laser-welded technology, Lauren&Harold 48-inches heavy-duty dog crate is sturdy and much stronger than fine wire crates and other wooden dog crates, making it perfect for most medium and large dogs. Size: 48.07''L x 30.03''W x 35.11''H.
- 【Easy Installation】-With only 3 steps, one person can install the large dog house in less than 10 minutes. First, assemble the four sides and top of the dog cage with screws, then attach the 4 wheels, and finally place the pull-out plastic dog crate tray and metal floor grate. Four 360-degree rolling casters make it easy to move the large dog kennel furniture around your home, and two of the wheels can be locked to keep it securely in place.
- 【Unique Design】-Our dog crate furniture indoor has a removable front and top door, the front door makes it easy for your pet to get in and out and the top door makes it easy to interact with and calm your dog. The front door comes with a small feeding door for easy access to food and water, and the top door comes with a skylight that allows your dog to stick his head out to relieve anxiety. Each door of the dog crate comes with a very sturdy lock that offers a lasting, stable, and safe retreat for your pet.
- 【Easy to Clean】-The extra large dog crate has two plastic trays and two metal floor grates that slide out and are removable. The dog kennel trays will catch any dirt that falls, and the slide-out design makes cleaning the dog crate furniture easier and less stressful. We want you to spend more time with your dog, interacting with him, and less time cleaning the crate. To make your dog's home more comfortable and to prevent the dog's tag from getting stuck under the crate, we recommend that you put a dog bed or blanket in the bottom of the crate.
- 【Intimate Service】-The dog crate for medium dogs is well-made and perfect for your love puppy. Your dog will experience his new home sooner. And we promise that if you have any problems with the dog crate furniture within one year, you can contact us at any time and we will be responsible for your lovely dog.

We have a medium size pup who is about 50lbs. This little one has bent the main latch and has worked around the top latch on the main door. We've had to secure the left side door with metal straps on the top and bottom to ensure she can't get out. The whole unit is quite well build, but some dogs are still able to make an escape.

This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made. The thing is made of the cheapest parts available. The locks bent and twisted after three months the hinges became disconnected from the frame. This is JUNK!!! They should be ashamed to admit they sell this product.

Ok, but not perfect
Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2024
My dog has recently developed some crate anxiety, but is not yet trustworthy enough to roam free, so I have been seeking ways to help him feel more comfortable. I saw this cage and thought the larger size and the ability to see out all sides might help, so I decided to give it a try. At first it really seemed to be helping. When I checked in on the camera throughout the day, he seemed much more relaxed and he would go in there a little more willingly than he did the old crate. However, after a few days I noticed that he had been chewing on the bars of the cage. While I didn't expect a dog would try to chew through steel, it was alarming how successful he actually was. Sadly, I learned that this cage is not as sturdy and durable as it initially appeared. Unfortunately, this did not work out for him, but the other dog has benefited with the larger space and he loves it.
This crate comes in many pieces for you to assemble. Though it looked slightly intimidating at first, it really was not too difficult. I was able to assemble it on my own. I just used a chair and a table for a little assistance with the first couple of steps. It comes with picture instructions that are very easy to follow. Also, all of the pieces were clearly labeled with stickers, so they were very easy to sort out. I don't see how this was only 3 steps and under 10 minute assembly as the product page states, however. Once you get it all together the whole thing feels pretty sturdy. I opted to not add the wheels because I really didn't need them and the crate is easy enough to move the few times I need to.
This is definitely a nice looking cage and I love all the doors you can open. The top door is handy for adding water or delivering treats, but that latch is a little tough to slide. It is doable though, so not a big deal. All of the other latches are easy to slide. I love the big opening of the front door as well. It is very easy to get the dog in and close it back up. These dogs have found ways to bust through doors or get the latches to let them out, but these latches all seem to hold sturdy.
I am torn on the bottom of the cage, but overall, I am not a fan. I imagine if you have a young puppy and accidents are possible, the easy clean feature is nice. Even just the crazy amount of shedding fur falling to the easily removable trays is nice. My problem with it is that I really don't think it looks comfortable. I didn't love the idea of my dogs having to lay on the hard bars with gaps between them from the very beginning, so I tried to throw in some blankets to make it more cozy. One day my dog's tag from his collar actually got stuck in one of those bars. Fortunately, the bottom pieces pop up easily, so he wasn't trapped, but he did have a floor grate attached to him. Now I make sure to have a blanket securely covering the bottom and a dog bed on top. I would love to see a solid bottom option with this as well. If you need the easy clean option, I suggest you remove dog collars before putting them in there.
This crate may be great for some dogs, but not so much for others. It would need a few improvements before I would be ready to recommend it to others, but it does have potential.

VERY STURDY! Should contain your rowdiest canine!
Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2024
I'd been looking at crates lately for a forthcoming pet, but couldn't seem to find a happy medium between "too dang easy for an escape artist" and basically building a room. Then I saw this super-sturdy Lauren&Harold 48 Inch Heavy Duty Dog Crate Furniture for Large Medium Dogs, and while looking somewhat imposing, knew I could craft it into a very nice, cozy home for the New Pup.
IT IS STURDY! 70-some pounds, so THANK YOU for adding casters! Easily moveable, and easily cleanable.
Accessible from the front for your pet, or the top for cleaning or dropping your (fur) baby in.
While it does look a bit harsh because of the build, dogs do like having a nest, so some soft, velvety fabrics draped on the frame give your pup a pretty, cozy-feeling nest (and a pretty appearance in your home) without making your dog realize they're going to need bail money to get back out.
Very little effort to get it into action, but unless you've been doing major feats of strength (unfortunately, I have lately, so wasn't an issue, not bragging, not complaining, just doing a lot of stuff!), you may want a little bit of help getting it moved. Set it up near where you'd like it and the wheels will make it an easy move anywhere else.
SUPER sturdy! If you didn't need to access from the top side, you could probably stack your supply of anvils or a few pianos atop it (do not do this - that's hyperbole). It is WELL MADE.
ROOMY AS ALL GET-OUT - I think you might be able to put a smaller, but extremely rowdy lion in there (and yes, I take my task as a Vine reviewer seriously, but was unable to secure a lion on short demand) or perhaps that proverbial barrel of monkeys (assuming they're petite monkeys?).
EASY TO CLEAN - with the wheels, you could wheel outside to hose out if the party became too lively in the crate.
REST ASSURED WHILE YOU'RE GONE - your new puppy, unless they grow thumbs the moment you walk out the door, should not be on the loose, chewing on your best pair of shoes when you come back home.
DO MAKE IT COZY - of course my friends and family have no filters, so they made comments regarding the very sturdy appearance of this, and then asked me where it was on a return trip once I'd turned this crate into the Taj Mahal of dog caves. Likewise, if you make it look and feel cozy for your pup, they'll enjoy their private, quiet time in their dog cave (quite possibly while you're practicing your new violin, for instance). Of COURSE my pup has a thicker memory foam mattress bed in here that's more plush than my own bed.
Why wouldn't the pack want to pile up inside? If it had room for a big enough TV, I might just camp out in it with them, but for now, it's the Old Dog's rolling palace, and we're delighted with it. New Dog better hope Old Dog feels hospitable and in the mood to share, or else we'll need a second one!
VERY PLEASED! DEFINITELY FIVE STARS!

Reviewed in the United States on March 6, 2024
This dog and cat cage is well designed and made of sturdy materials, making it suitable for small and medium-sized dogs and pet cats. The interior of the cage is spacious, with a bathroom and a comfortable seating area for easy cleaning and pet care. The design of the skylight is also very user-friendly, allowing pets to have enough space to move around. Very satisfied with this purchase
