It does the job, but it's not as good as the nipple shield I received from the hospital.

The rounded tip is distracting for my son. He will have a tendency to suckle on it, but it's shallow and doesn't pull the milk. I have to guide his mouth deeper onto the shield, and it takes more time to get a good latch. The other shield I own has a more pointed tip, which is much better.

Also, when my son bites it down, it will sometimes get stuck in a squeezed position. I have to release it with my hands. Those few seconds where it pinches my nipple are very painful.

Aside from these two issues, the shield functions exactly the same way as my other shield. I don't have any issues keeping it on like some of the other reviews mentioned. But perhaps they weren't trained to use one properly or perhaps they are not using a good size for their breasts. (I have a DD chest.)

J'ai un petit bébé de 10 jours qui avait de la misère à avoir une bonne prise au sein, et après avoir essayé 1000 et 1 chose je m'étais résignée à faire du tire-allaitement... Jusqu'à ce que j'essaie cette tétrelle!!
