I had my concerns about ordering this stand because it was for my Surface Pro 9 which is kind of large and heavy but I was pleasantly surprise when I opened the box. This is a solid little stand. I have a youtube ring light on a stand and I expected this one to be the same lightweight stand but his is beefy. Almost like a stand for a drum cymbal. At first glance I said 'no way that holder will expand to fit my tablet but sure enough it did and my Surface is 8.5" wide and the holder had nice rubber grips and a bit of a holding lip at each end. My tablet is going nowhere. Don't hesitate to buy this.

I use this stand with my iPad Pro, a paging pedal and the songbook app to view chord sheets when playing guitar at church. The stand is stable and collapses to a size that fits in the neck pocket of my guitar backpack case. I have added a small screw on tray to hold my picks and capos during sets. The stand is very stable, adjustable and extends much higher than required for my 6 foot height. I love this stand and would recommend it to anyone wanting a similar setup for performing.

This Lamicall tripod paired with my 11” iPad Pro is perfect for my purposes - primarily FaceTime classical guitar lessons and FT calling. I had to return the very stable gooseneck Lamicall iPad stand as it was large for the space in which I needed to use it and I could not lower the iPad as far as I needed to. This unit solved those problems and seems both sturdy and stable. It is fairly unobtrusive and has a huge range of possible height adjustments. It’s very easy to adjust and can be collapsed, stored and easily transported in its own storage pouch. A remote control for iPad photography is included.

I use this for mixing at church with a tablet. My wrist was getting some kinks from holding the tablet for several hours. This works great! The holder is so easy to use and is super solid. The ball swivel is amazing! It is so light that it could be a little top heavy. I cut lengths of steel 3/8 diameter and inserted them in the legs to add weight. That helped alot! I love this thing! I looked around for just the right one and this is it for me!
