They work as expected. The price was modest and I wanted a small pair. However I cant seem to get the right focus and they're not the greatest at night. Maybe I should have gotten ones with better night vision. My eyes feel drained after using them and the dial on the eyeball part (to adjust for people who wear glasses) doesnt stay put. It's difficult to get the correct focus for bot eyes, one is always out of focus, but I'm not sure if you have to refocus them for longer or shorter distances. I feel cross eyed after using them.

Ik vergelijk de LUXUN 12×25 verrekijker met mijn oude 10×25 NIKON verrekijker.
Wat mij bij de LUXUN (12×25) direct op viel was dat de vergroting kleiner is dan die van mijn oude NIKON (10×25) verrekijker. En dat, terwijl de LUXUN 12× vergroot t.o.v. een 10× vergroting van de NIKON kijker.
Wat mij ook direct opviel was, dat het beeld helderder is dan die van mijn oude NIKON kijker. De BAK4 prisma's in de LUXUN zijn duidelijk van betere kwaliteit dan de prisma's in mijn oude NIKON kijker.
Qua vergroting is de LUXUN dus: teleurstellend.
De diameter van 25mm lens is in werkelijkheid 24mm. Ronduit slordig!
Er komt een nare weekmaker geur van de verrekijker af. En gezien het feit, dat je kijker dicht bij je neus houdt; vind ik dat problematisch.
De LUXUN is niet zo makkelijk scherp te stellen als mijn oude 10×25 NIKON.

Mijn overall mening: Ik vindt de LUXUN12×25(24) teleurstellen en heb de kijker dan ook retour gestuurd.

I am right now doing some plane spotting with my 10 year old plane enthusiast and these binoculars feel well built and we are getting excellent views of the planes.
