This shampoo made my grey hair look really shiny and almost silvery, totally removing the yellow cast to my hair. The bottle is big and the scent is nice and subtle. I don't need conditioner when I use this because it seems to remove tangles in my hair and reduces any fly-away hair afterwards. I don't use hair blowers or any type of heating products on my hair, so that's impressive.

If you are like so many of us and have a little or a lot of gray, silver or a combination of hair color and you hate that yellow tone that always shows up and ruins your day you really need this product! I promise you, you won't regret getting it. L'OREAL EVER PURE Shampoo and Conditioner Sulfate Free Color Care System (PURPLE). This Shampoo and, or Conditioner Neutralizes Brassy Yellow/Orange Tones. I use both the Shampoo and Conditioner because my hair demands it, if you hair is OK with just the Shampoo then that's fine no need to spend money these days if you don't need to. I use the Conditioner because when my hair lost all of its color it became very dry and developed a tendency for breaking. This L'OREAL product is amazing and I'd rather not wash my hair than use a regular shampoo, I'd wait until I could get my hands on this product. Oh, just a word to the wise this product is not expensive and a little goes a long way. Treat yourself you deserve it..

Dyed my hair on Tuesday with Loreal 8/med/blonde. Though there is a lot of natural gray/silver in my hair these days, it always leaned towards brown/red hues in days gone by. Loreal 8 makes a warm golden shade for me, but is always a bit brassy for the first few weeks.
Didn’t wash my hair from Tuesday to Friday when the Loreal Purple shampoo came! One wash, followed by the conditioner in the hair dye box, worked great! I may wash it one or two more times with the purple shampoo, but I am very happy with even this one wash. Makes me look YEARS younger and not so ‘fake’.
