Made a haircolor mistake?

It happens.

Colorist Secrets Haircolor Remover is here to get you back on track in one easy step.

The Salon-inspired formula removes permanent haircolor, even salon color, and leaves your hair immediately ready to re-color with a new shade.

What does haircolor remover do?

Haircolor Remover removes unwanted permanent color in one simple step. Your hair will be left immediately ready to color again.

Should I re-color my hair after I use Haircolor Remover?

Yes. Make sure to purchase your next color at the same time as Haircolor Remover because the removal of permanent artificial color will not restore your hair to its original, natural shade.

Will Haircolor Remover work on my hair?

This exclusive formula is specially formulated to work on permanent haircolor, even salon color. For very long hair, you may need more than one box of Haircolor Remover. Not for use with semi-permanent color.

Maintain your color!

Use L’Oreal Colorist Secrets Brass banisher to reduce unwanted warmth and brassy tones. Brass banisher works on natural, color-treated, or highlighted hair for a cooler, balanced result.

Works great . Less damage then using bleach. Usually you will need to color it after you use it.

This is just bleach with a low volume developer. I wish they would just state that on the box cover or in the description of the posting

I dyed my hair the wrong colour and it looked awful- and couldn’t dye it out. A hairdresser said she could fix it for $300 and 3+ hours I the chair 😕 I tried this and it worked ! I had to dye it my regular colour after but that was easy and now looks great. So happy I found this stuff.

This works well to erase a color snafu AND/OR strip hair of old or built up dye to prep for new color/lighter shade.
I've used it 4 or 5 times with I'd say 70% of dye removed without significant damage (nothing Argon oil and a little time didn't take care of) I wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to anyone who colors at home. For myself, I always have this on hand especially If I plan a significant color change that has the potential to go wrong because it sucks when you anticipate great results and you're left having to wear a hat to leave your house.

The following are TIPS for using:
-If your hair is much past shoulder length I'd suggest using two boxes.
-The more built up dye on hair the longer it takes for color to lift, so for more even results I suggest start applying to the last few inches of hair, wait 2-3 mins and apply to the next few inches and so on until you reach your roots so you don't have to wash out prematurely.
-For brunettes that are auburn/copper (as opposed to a more ashy brown) you may find you have a surprising amount of red left on your hair. That leads me to believe that removing red dye specifically is going to be more of a challenge.
-If you use store bought boxed dye it's going to take longer for the color to lift than if you get your color done professionally or use the pro dye at home. I'm not exactly sure why but I do know that boxed dye is much harder on your hair. ****if you dont use pro its well worth finding a beauty supply store that sells to public and mix yourself at home (you'll need: pro color, developer, plastic bowl and measuring tool and an application brush (or latex gloves). They can sell you all of that and over time its MUCH cheaper.
If you're reading this cuz you've had a color mishap don't hesitate, buy this now, the results might not be perfect but it'll be a vast improvement and lucky you, you can redye if needed as soon your hair is stripped and dry so no one will be the wiser .

So about my hair...
- Bleached & been coloring inner part blue with manic panic for over an year
- Last time I colored was six months ago
...so it was super faded and looking greenish.

This product may not be for semi-permanent colors but it worked for manic panic on my hair!
I saturated my hair with this, put a plastic bag around and left it for thirty minutes (Warmed it up twice with a hair dryer too).
The second photo is meant to compare the color with a white wall lol
It’s very hard to see in the picture but most part of my hair is looking blonde now.
I’ll give it another try in a few days to strip the rest of the green.

I've dyed my hair super dark brown for well over two years now. I was bored with it and wanted a change. I've bleached my hair before and it turned out horrible. (I used a different product) Earlier this year, I used a hair dye remover from Sally's and was kinda so-so on the results and ended up dying my hair back to dark brown. My hair is a natural medium brown color but I wanted to attempt to go blonde. It's the only natural color I've never been before. I went to a local walmart and was caught between Oops and this product. A friend has used Oops and said it worked moderately well for her. My biggest concern was if it could get out the hair color. When I bleached my hair for the first time back in 2008, not even half of my dark hair color came out. I grabbed L'Oreal's hair color remover instead of Oops.

When I got home I went straight to the bathroom and started mixing this stuff. I wasn't wild about how thin this product is. Not to mention, my hair is just above my shoulders and I almost didn't have enough for my whole head. As I was applying this to my hair, it started working immediately. I left it on for about 40 to 45 minutes and washed it out and shampooed. This stuff took ALL of the dark hair dye out. My hair isn't fried. It's super soft and shiny. I'm highly impressed with this, despite all the bad reviews.

Read the instructions. If you don't want to use bleach on your hair, read the ingredients FIRST! This worked leaps and bounds better than the stuff I got at Sally Beauty Supply. I will be using this again in the future!!

I have died my hair for years and I swear by this product. I had red and purple peekaboo highlights. Orange and red are the hardest colors to remove but with two boxes of this it came out in an instant I highly recommend purchasing this item and it doesn’t smell like color oops don’t buy that one it’s a waste of money this one on the other hand is superb.

Cela m'a effectivement décoloré mais je l'ai laissé plus d'1 heure. Le résultat n'était pas parfait car il y a peu de produit et j'ai les cheveux longs.
