How to remove the mount from the air vent

1. Loosen the knob to make the hook the longest shape.

2. Grab the mount, push it back slightly, and then lift it up.

3. After the hook is completely separated from the vent, pull it out horizontally.

Note: Do not pull the mount too hard to avoid damaging the vent.

I had the Spigen magnetic mount before. I thought it was great, but often it would come off with my phone because of the weak vent mount and then get lost.

This is great because it never leaves the place you mount it, it sticks the phone out further- so you can better see it and angle it.

The angle mount isn’t clear from the pictures, but you can tilt it in any direction.

Great investment. Came with lots of magnets, but you can also search for a phone case with built in magnets. I had a case with built in already and it’s plenty strong.

Bought this 2 pack to hold my Lenovo P11 tablet which I am using as a Android Auto on my SUV. When the company said that these magnetic phone holders are super strong, oh boy, they are not kidding! It's so strong it is sometimes hard to take off your phone or tablet - NO WORRIES about your device falling off. Even just one holder can carry my P11 tablet. It's easy to install - the difficulty is when your vent has tight spaces. I managed to eventually install it the way I like it. So, my Android Auto tablet is very secure and firm on my dash. The item arrived on time and it is made with quality. I'm a happy camper. Just noticed the price dropped another $4 dollars )-:

I got this mostly because it had good reviews for the most part and it was well priced. I bought one from walmart a week or two before this and it was the same price for just 1, but it was pretty good really but they didnt have any more in stock. This one on the other hand was alright, if you have the correct Car Vents for it, then it holds alright, but I have the correct type and it fits a bit awkwardly, since my fans have a piece on the front to adjust the x and y access for the direction of the air flow, these hold ontop of that and it kind of BENDS the flat part thats suposed to hold it in place. Ok thats maybe a bit confusing, it does hold well, but its just a bit awkward. The main issues are that the magnet is actually a little too strong, its strange to say, but my other one I got before had a really good strength magnet, these ones are so strong that its a bit tough to pull the phone off, the second and last issue I find is that the head of the adjustable piece that holds the phone doesnt lock perfectly, its good enough, so I dont know if its really worth writing it here as a problem, it does hold the phone in place, but if you try to pry the phone off the magnet it will reposition the thing, again not really a problem, you just put it how you like it the next time you put your phone on it, it takes so little time its not really worht mentioning, but I cannot say that its something that didnt kind of bother me just a tiny bit. Anyways, the stronger magnet could be usefull if you have something heavier you want to stick one of those plates on the back of to hold. Like you could potentially put those metal plates on the back of a tablet and stick these two Car Fan Holders onto one fan and it would likely hold the tablet real well.

I wanted a vent mount phone holder. I got this one and the more expensive Nite Ize Steelie. The Steelie is made of slightly better materials. The plastic feels more expensive and the metallic features are nice. However the magnet was not as strong as I would have liked. My phone tended to slump down on it. But the real drawback is how it attaches to the vent. It has two fins that compress around a single vent fin. This resulted in a very lose fit. But this LiSEN vent mount is much better. It has a hook that grabs the back of the vent find and a compression screw that tightens around the fin. Plus the extended surface area of the front pushes against not just one vent fin but three fins. This means it prevents the vent from moving around and produces a very tight and secure fit. It is a little hard to describe with words but it is a much more secure and better fit around the vent than the Steelie. And the magnet is stronger than the Steelie too. It holds my phone firmly in place. And for half the price as the Steelie I got two vent holders with the LiSEN plus six different metal plates to attach to the back of my phone. I don't know why the package has six plates but it is great. I can use the extras for my extra phone cases and my wife's phone. The LiSEN is the way to go.

Definitely pay attention to the types of vents it works on. I delayed installing it after I purchased it, so I had forgotten that specification. It only works on the side vents, not the main ones in my own car. I would have preferred the visibility that my main vent location would provide - so maybe the manufacturers could figure out a way to insert the stem and then turn it for vertical vents? When you see the design and install it, this limitation makes sense - but a bummer nonetheless.

That said, I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this was. My phone case has *extra magnets so when I say the holder's magnet is Super strong, I take that into consideration. Probably one of the most secure magnet holders I've ever used. Also, the stem clamping onto the Inside of the vent is brilliant. It feels strong and stable to support the weight of my phone. Delightful bonus that the mount still has the flexibility to tilt and turn as needed. I loathe most vent mounts because they always fall. But this one is by far a winner! Easy to figure out and install, and can remove without a sticky mess left behind.

Something I worry about with Any vent holder is when you're running the heater and whether that could damage the phone/battery. The advantage of it being on my side vent is that I can close that vent to minimize that concern. But I mention it because it's something I feel manufacturers and consumers should keep in mind when temperature controls are in use.
