Excellent gps and phone mount

Tldr: This is an excellent mounting system. I rate it a 4.5 stars. Magnets are strong and hold both phone and GPS perfectly. The vent mount is not a stable enough design and the adhesive is on the weak side.

I needed an adaptable mount for my older Garmin gps, that could also be compatible with my phone. I ended up duct taping the ring to my GPS since the back is a funny shape and there isn't enough surface for the adhesive. Works like a charm. I enjoyed the fact it also came with 2 metal rings. It holds my phone amazingly. No threat of it falling off, even on bumpy under construction roads. The dash mount is a simple but very effective design.

The only cons for me is the design of the vent mount and the strength of the adhesive on the dash mount. The vent mount is not designed with the clamps that most have. And this it does not sit stable on my vents. Probably doesn't help that my vents are very curved. Second, the adhesive for the dash mount don't seem to stick well. Had to use another adhesive instead.

Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase. My gps is very silly with it's design and this fits all my needs well :)

It is a great quality product. Very strong magnet, but somehow it does not work from with bumper or cover on. Some other products which have metal plates that can be placed between the cover & the phone, work conveniently well. It is very nice that they have added stickers for phones with ceramic or glass body so that you do not have to stick the rings on the glass surface. Protects your phone. I tried on the bumper too, but because the magnet was strong, and the bumper was soft, it just keeps on stretching and pulling the bumper nearly pulling it off the phone. But again, that was also because I was using a bad quality bumper. Just wanted to share this experience too.
I will still use it by customizing my other phone case and sticking the spare ring on top of it.

This is by far the best phone mount I have ever gotten. It's strong holding my phone steady no matter the road conditions. Mounts easily and strong tape to keep it in place. My advice is to make sure to clean the dashboard well ensuring no dust, lint or chemicals like armor all for a strong hold. Also a little advice is not to use the clear tape provided for both the mounting bracket and the magnet for phone (not sure exactly what use they have) because it won't stick at all pulling right off with first use, resulting in struggling to remove all the two sided tape then all the glue from the mount so that you can place the extra pads provided (thank goodness) on the stand. Trust me it was not a easy task lol. And the vent option is also amazing. It hooks onto a vent flap then you can tighten it up to secure it. Make sure to follow the instructions completely and don't use the clear rectangular tape provided and you will be extremely happy with this product.

The product was as described on Amazon. It’s very sturdy and has a strong magnet. It fits well in my 3rd gen Tacoma. If installing on top of the fin in the air vent, you'll need to push down a little to have the hook catch the back of the air vent fin. I tightened until it wouldn’t move and then wiggled it a little and then re-tightened. It holds a lot better than I thought it would for an air vent phone mount.
