This monitor is just pure pleasure to use with my games. I went from a 34inch 2k sceptre to this and I think it was worth it. I even managed to get it on sale and with monthly payments. This monitor has everything 200mhz refresh rate amd freesync premium wich I don't use but it's nice to have. It's got dimming wich is nice. I really can't say anything negative about this monitor it's a great entry ultra wide monitor.
I only wish it had better picture quality. On PC i can crank up the saturation to max on nvidia control panel, and then raise the brightness and contrast on the display settings, and then the monitor looks pretty good, but on the ps5 i can't do that and it looks a bit weak on the ps5 cause aI can't crank up the saturation like I can on PC.
For work its good its easy to read text and the picture size is good for two screens side by side.
If i was going to ask for something more it would be better picture quality and maybe 49" instead of the 45" i have now.
This is the way to play Apex Legends. I play on pc. On ps5 the picture is stretched regardless of the resolution i set which is nice cause the enemies in Apex Legends are more wide and so easier to hit.
I really enjoy this monitor but it's lacking in darker colors. It's also overpriced due to it being falsely advertised as the ips version which it most definitely is not. Would be nice to receive a discount on my purchase, atleast for the price difference. I'm fine with owning the VA version as I actually prefer them
This is my 3rd LG ultrawide. but this one is really... 1, Dead pixels (always red) on lower left, 2" from bottom on arrived. 2, As long as the mouse scrolls up and down the webpage, the screen will flickering and ghosting in green color. Did different ways to restart, changed power, cables....nothing. 3, Do not want waste time, return it ASAP.
Bad QC. otherwise, it is a great monitor, 4 stars.

I got this to replace two 24 inch monitors in my recording studio. It was really nice, easy to set up, and very light - lighter than one of the single 24inches I replaced. It goes together in a snap and is easy to manage despite the large size. The PQ is OK - not as good as the pro-level monitors I replaced, but plenty acceptable for my studio. No idea how it does for gaming as I don't do that.
However, at the end of the day, it was slightly smaller than the two 24 inchers, so I returned it and went with the 49 inch version which is almost identical except for the back panel lighting and heavier metal stand. For the money, this was the better deal, but I was afraid I'd have regrets about the size.
4.0 out of 5 starsGood value, minor annoyance encountered, but corrected.

This is an excellent entry level Ultrawide Curved Monitor, as better ones cost considerably more.
I did encounter a problem which had me rather scared, thinking there was something wrong with the Monitor, my Nvidia Graphics card, or settings for the monitor or video card that maybe needed changing: the monitor would constantly go dark on me for a couple of seconds, about every 30 seconds to a minute intervals.
The actual problem, however, was quite simple: the problem was using the HDMI cable slot in the monitor. Different HDMI cables did not fix the problem. Seemed to me there was too much wiggle room in the HDMI connection.
But, when instead I used the Display Port slot, with a 10 foot DP cable I ordered from Amazon because of this problem (Benfei VESA Certified), the problem went completely away...!
Now I am very happy with my purchase, but I should mention I am not a hardcore gamer, so I cannot give an opinion on gaming performance.
I purchased this monitor to upgrade from my single 27" [regular] widescreen monitor. I wasn't so much going after gaming as much as needing more monitor real-estate. This monitor barely fits on my desk, but it looks so amazing and is more functional that my wife stopped using her desk with dual ultrawide monitors (not as wide) and has been using my desk with this single ultrawide monitor.
This is the future of computing. Now if I can convince my manager at work to upgrade my work monitors to this one...
I bought this in order to get rid of the dual monitors. I am somewhat OCD and like everything to be level, so when my monitors would tilt, it would annoy me and I would spend 15 minutes trying to get them back to perfect level. So I eventually bought this and love it so far. I work from home and game a little, so I use this a lot. Simple to switch between my PC and my work laptop, or have them up side by side with PIP/PBP.
However, if you're a gamer who is used to having their game take up one whole screen, and prefer it to look that way, then be warned. I would love to have my game take up half the screen (border to border) with the other half open for discord or other chats, but most games I play don't allow that. So you'll be playing in a window that's not touching the edges of your screen.
