But the minor faults do exist, and they center around its image quality - which is excellent - but not as excellent as my old BenQ PD2700Q. (Which had a DisplayPort sleep bug, so I used that as an excuse to upgrade to something GSync compatible. I wanted better gaming.) So even if I fault it, it's relative to a monitor that is the best of the best for picture quality.
Speaking of Gsync - this thing is SUPERB when paired with a strong GeForce card. Games are now smooth as butter. Variable framerates and refresh rates really DO make a difference! Very happy with the upgrade!
But on to the annoyances. The main annoyance to me is the edge design - which was entirely optional and could've been done better. When looked at on an angle, the edge fades, blurs and fuzzes. It's not even 0.5cm, but the edge of the screen is not pixel perfect. It's like they were trying to do a wrap-around edge like on a smartphone... just worse. It is irritating when you're accessing controls or drawing pixel perfect art on the very edge, like you would in Photoshop, etc. See the photo - it's a darkened blurry fuzzy rectangle around the edge.
The second main annoyance is the uneven red tinge that the screen has, quite visible on black backgrounds. They are not truly black... they are very black with a dark reddish tint. It is stronger in the lower left corner. The backlight is also not perfectly even, and has noticeable dimming towards some corners and the bottom of the screen. (Though again, probably better than every TN and IPS that you've ever used - unless it's a PD2700Q, like me.)
I was expecting less regressions going in, but it is a very high quality monitor and I suspect that unless you have an even better monitor to compare to, you would not notice its weaknesses. I did, because I do. But where my other one is weak, I notice this one's strengths - like the excellent GSync and gaming capabilities, which I am very happy with.
My final negative is the power adapter design. I prefer simple NEMA power cables to expensive proprietary power adapters with thinner cables that can fatigue and break easily.
But overall this monitor has grown on me, and I am very happy with the purchase. I still give it 5/5 stars - though if I could be more specific, I think it's a 4.7 with a slight hit on image quality compared to the best. Still an excellent affordable buy. Would recommend.

Zero complaints on the performance of the panel. *Far* superior to the more expensive Samsung I had purchased previously. No real issues with dead pixels, IPS glow or uneven backlighting. Default colour profiles are fine. Plenty bright for most applications. OSD controls are good, and it's worked with everything I've thrown at it.
Overall, it's not problem free though.
The AC adapter is garbage - it's a full on space wasting "wall wart" rather than a brick with AC cable. I assume this is a cost saving measure. Even better would be an integrated power supply rather than a standalone AC adapter.
Has this horrible red "ultragear" logo on the monitor. It's so ugly that I probably would've skipped over the monitor if I had known it was there. Why do manufacturers insist on GAMER!!!1 branding?
The stand is pretty bad, it holds the monitor but not much more. It's obnoxious looking and has zero adjustment. Another victim of cost saving. Factor in the cost of an aftermarket stand.
The included HDMI cable has already gone wonky 1 month in. Not really a shock, bundled cables are usually as cheap as possible.
had no quality issues. and the built in crossheir option is cool for games like Sea of Thieves that have no native crossheir. also i like how the menu displays current FPS so you arent guessing what the game is running at. If you have 4k enabled on the xbox settings it will usually drop the FPS to 60.
The monitor is non adjustable so be aware you might need to buy a stand or buy a more expensive monitor if that doesnt suit your setup.
seems to go on sale pretty often and its really decent for the sale price.
If any quality issues come up I will update.
In total I'd give this monitor a 9/10, absolutely do not regret the purchase at all.
Attached pictures of HDR on/off. You lose a bit of detail but the colours are much more vibrant.
Pros:
HDR looks fantastic (HDR10 market bs aside).
165Hz is Awesome.
Can't go wrong with Gsync compatibility.
No Black light bleed.
Nothing came close to this monitor for the price range.
Cons:
Huge ghosting artifacts so your not getting the most out of your refresh rate.
No height or swivel adjustment and very little tilt (not a problem for me but make sure you're aware of that).
