This is certainly the most impressive screen I've ever seen. The design and appearance are absolutely first class. It looks terrific from any angle. There is no doubt at all that the OLED technology is just about the most advanced out there, but this TV is also a beautiful object, even when turned off. The active viewing area extends to within a centimeter or so of the physical edges of the screen and it looks handsome from all sides. The cords tuck away inside the legs so they can be virtually invisible too.
I love that it can double as a large and high resolution photo gallery, with the software support for this available right out of the box. Photos look astounding on this display.
The idea of having this TV on legs of its own is kind of a throwback to the early days of TV and I welcome it as it's super useful for me. I am able to easily position this device where I need it like right in front of my bike trainer so I can watch virtual environments while I'm riding it, and I don't need a large piece of furniture to sit the TV on getting in the way.
It was a pretty involved process to set it up, but I anticipated that. One challenge is its weight and the requirement to have two people available to lift it at a few points. This makes the 55 inch size a poor choice for anyone living alone who can't get somebody to help out when it needs to be setup. Even moving it is supposed to be done with two people -- one at each end of it. I am able to get around that because I have smooth slippery engineered flooring and I put felt pads on its feet so it simply glides around.
In use, it's an absolute marvel. The builtin net sources (eg LG TV) work great. Also builtin apps like Amazon Prime Video and Youtube work perfectly. The remote doesn't quite match the modern aesthetic of the TV but it works very well and feels good in the hand.
4K video from a Google Chromecast device is top notch. Screencasting from my Pixel tablet to the TV works perfectly and looks great. The magnetic clip-on rear cover is such a great addition as it completely covers up wiring and compact plugin devices like the Chromecast dongle.
4K video from a Beelink Windows Mini Media PC works perfectly and the image is outstanding.
Airplay casting from iPadOS works great.
The rotating art gallery has outstanding images; and it's gorgeous to watch.
I ran into a couple of little issues. I selected no live video inputs and it defaulted to listening for live tv anyway when I went to the home page. I'm still kind of struggling with its menu system. Trying to avoid it auto playing tv clips from somewhere when nothing else is going on is a chore.
I wish it had built in Google Chromecast support, but adding the $50 dongle to get that is not a serious issue. It does have excellent Airplay 2 support that works with my iPad perfectly.
I don't think you can get a better multipurpose, standalone TV screen than this device, so I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
