This UltraWide 5120 x 1440 resolution DQHD screen supports high-dynamic range color and features a curved design that fills your field of view, allowing you to comfortably see more content at once when editing videos, mixing audio, comparing data, and more. Connect your devices to the monitor through its DisplayPort and two HDMI inputs. The Dual Controller 2.0 feature allows you seamlessly control up to two connected devices simultaneously. I was hesitant because it was 2k, but it's been holding up and working great! Not great for competitive gaming because of its 60hz refresh rate and because it's so big, but feels really immersive for single-player story/adventure games like The Long Dark for example.

I use this with an M1 Mac Mini. I have low vision, so instead of using it in place of two screens with high resolution, I set it to scaled resolution of 2560 x 720 so the icons and text are huge but still crisp and sharp.

I'm not a gamer. so I don't care that it has a 60 Hz refresh rate.

I tried it once for gaming and it's pretty cool however I purchased it for video editing, audio recording and for building LMS projects in Articulate. It works great. Spread the timeline out as far as you want. Makes editing way easier. I've also used the PnP to hook up 2 separate computers. Works great. The LG software for splitting up the screen into sections is a bit clunky and crashes every once and a while. All in all best monitor I've ever purchased.

I will keep this brief.

I work from home in the tech industry. I wanted an alternative to my existing dual-monitor set-up, which was getting a bit old.

The monitor will take some getting used to and will require customization. Many of your favorite applications will open and canvas across the entire screen, making using them wildly inconvenient. 3rd party applications, like PowerToys, will be mandatory for screen management purposes.

The picture quality is fine, but definitely isn't as spectacular as I was hoping. That said, once you have it dialed in, running large Excel sheets and/or video conferencing apps become immersive.

On the whole, these ultrawides are a tad gimmicky in my opinion. If I was to go back in time, I might get a smaller, 4k panel with a less flashy footprint.

Edit: I ended up returning it I think I got a lemon but happy to be rid of it.

its good don't get me wrong it just keeps creaking and it makes me uncomfortable. The screen has been flashing as well. I am concerned with the quality I have a 49" dell beside me running with the same computer and it has none of these issues. The creaking is apparently due to the black light "warming up" but it goes away after like 4 hours of use takes for ever and it throws me off ever time I hear it. I heard LG warranty is a nightmare so let's hope I don't have to use it. I would look to dell i mean this thing still cost 2k. also the base is pretty, however, the monitor shakes when you are standing and typing. 3/5

Great monitor, I miss very much but after 4 months of dealing with LG, I have been without a monitor. I understand there's a supply chain issue, but SOME contact would be nice. After 1 1/2 month of not hearing from them, I've asked for refund. THAT is TBD. AVOID them if you have any warranty issues.

I have this monitor for about two weeks now. I must say, I love it. It fit perfect on my desk, the quality is good, no dead pixels, no complaints whatsoever. I'm using the USB Type C connection with my HP Laptop, and everything looks amazingly beautiful in this massive screen. I do not use it for gaming so I can't really comment on those specifics, nor have I tried the dual inputs yet (i.e. a second PC). I overall love it. Good for

Disclaimer: I’m not a hardcore gamer. I am a creative type that needs a lot of viewing space. Coding with a single 23” monitor was amateur hour compared to this. This is a breath of fresh air. Be prepared to change your workflow and adjust to such a huge viewing space. Per other’s reviews, I also bought a tall desk mounting arm for my 23” and mounted it directly above for screensharing at a normal resolution. Didn’t think I’d need a 2nd display up top, but has been nice for playing media while not disrupting primary workspaces. A monitor along side of this Ultrawide will be too far away to be of much use! Like another reviewer said: “just buy this”. It’s a hefty purchase, but for as much time as you spend at your working display, shouldn’t it be really awesome? Treat yoself…you deserve it…won’t be disappointed.

Note: be careful handling when removing from box. Directions explicitly say not to pinch screen. It’s so large it can be challenging setting it up while only holding the edges (it’s very heavy thus the challenge).

Additional note: getting max resolution from 2017 Macbook Pro. But 2014 model via HDMI or mini Display port is not giving me max resolution. Note of caution for older apple users. I am trading in my old machine for a Mini so this will be no big deal, but do a little more research if all you have is mini display ports. Maybe I need a better cable also, despite the HDMI did say it was good up to 8K. I don’t hinder my rating here as this monitor is cutting edge and I wouldn’t exactly expect my 2014 laptop to get max output. Will update this review per any issues and additional experience.

The main reason I bought this monitor was so I could split the screen in a way where I have one larger window in the middle and two smaller windows on the sides. Before this, I had two 27in monitors side by side and I was annoyed by always having to turn my head to either side. With this monitor, I’m able to work facing straight forward for the majority of the day which has been easier on my neck. However, when needed, I do still split it into two windows, so I’m back to looking left or right. When I open the occasional spreadsheet that has enough columns to take up the full screen, it does make everything way easier to work with. For the different window layouts, I downloaded fancyzones. If you’re using this for work, make sure they’ll allow you do download something to help with the window layouts. This monitor doesn’t really help with productivity all that much, but it does make staring at the screen for long hours a bit more enjoyable.

I've been using this monitor for just over 3 months and have to say, it exceeded my expectations. Having 1 monitor to stretch an entire DAW across has been a blessing and well worth the cost. Only complaint is that this thing puts off a TON of heat! I can feel a noticeable temperature difference in my room after running this thing for a half hour. I guess it is to be expected, but well worth the price if you are looking to use any application that would normally cross over 2 screens!
